What did you think of what happened to Ghost in MW2

Ahem, so I must say when i saw Shepherd shoot Roach, and Ghost seconds later, i was shocked.
It's not like i was oh so surprised but every time i see it I feel sick to my stomach. Its even worse seconds later when you hear Price yelling on the radio not to trust Shepherd.

Anyway, as for the replies, How did it make you feel? Do you think it should have happened? or was it unnecessary bullshit. I go with the latter, but I certainly would have taken Price dieing for Ghost living.

OT I couldn't give less of a crap about Ghost; he's a non-playable character. Plus he is an accent I thought died out 200 years ago*.

By the way, a comic book is in the process of being made about him.

Yea. I didn't prefer Ghost to Price, It is however my perception that they only brought Price back because of fan's endless whining and hate mail.

Actually, I wondered what they were going to do with the whole "price" thing. (For those of you playing at home, every Call of Duty game so far has had a character with the last name "Price").

Well it did hook ya to a emotion. The airport level just seemed...well, probley better rating wise to been a cut scene or just you coming in after everything... so as scripted as it was it didn't really kick a reaction into me since I kinda become numb to morale choices that really are not a choice but something to get extra pr to the game by being conroversal....

Like Maryln Manson stirring church groups to protest (advertise) his concerts, just numb.

It is kinda stupid and there are plenty of plotholes I still don't get, but most of the post I find rather reasonable in their plothole filling arguments, the nuke going off killing 30,000 of Shepherd's men in the first Modern Warfare actually makes ALOT of sense, but the dead guy in the panic room and the guys with the strange tattoo's is still stupid that they never explained it and this game is in no way like a Michael Bay movie for the following reasons 1.) I never saw a sunset in game. 2.) It seemed to be jacking off the task force 141 guys more then the americans. 3.) The story was mediocre not HORRIBLE. 4.) I could see what the fuck was going on. Overall I agree bad-storytelling, but no it's not Michael Bay bad.

I wasn't that concerned about Ghost dying, I didn't really get attatched to him as a charachter...even if he was supposedly Gaz (wha wha WHAT?!?!?). Although seeing Shepard shooting Roach was deffinitly an OMG SHEPARD YOU WHORE! moment.

It was like in every cheesy kids movie, when they dumped Roach in the ditch, I was saying:
"No Roach, you can't die. Get up! Please, you gotta kick some ass!" Then when Shepard flicked the cigar, I genuinely yelled out "Fuck no!", much to the terror of my roomate.

And also, Captain Price is pure awesome. There is no debate here.

Actually it's stupid because it is an insipid plot. It 's as if the monkeys down at Infinity Ward went "Gee well bow do we make the story more than SHOOT THE GUYS WHOSE NAMES DON'T POP UP WHEN YOU LOOK AT THEM, NOT LIKE YOU EVER COULD ANYWAY " to which someone conspicuously in a green helmet said "Golly lets do more of the same only with you getting shot in the face 3 more times than the 1st game" then laughed madly as he ran away to Bungie studios, and while that's strange if you ever played Call of Duty for the story it's because you couldn't hear anything and thought those men with guns were Pokemon trainers,if there is a plot it flails around with less objective then a man with half his head missing and in the place it would be is a headless chicken wearing a green nametag that read "POOR COLLISION DETECTION" ..weird.

Yes the end sounded like Ben Croshaw , for which I should be put in a toilet and burned for being an uninteresting unoriginal prick, ANNNNDDDDD HOW? Har Har
