I wanted to be a physicist or an astronaut. Then I realized how maddening it would be to be stuck up in space for months on end, and played Half-Life and didn't want to be responsible for a Resonance Cascade or something similarly world-ending.

Now I want to be a teacher.

I wanted to be a lawyer(after Jim Carrey in liar lair) or comedian.
But at the moment I'm trying to become an engineer for the merchant navy (a much more boring life).
ahh to be 5 again.

Taller.

Edit: Nevermind someone beat me to it. I wanted to be a manga artist or someone involved in the making of videogames.

I wanted and still do want to become an actor and/or comedian.
I'm still young though, so I've got time.
My dream can still be fulfilled.

When I was very little I wanted to be a tiger, then a zebra, and then a leopard when I grew up. Then when I was in 2nd Grade I wanted to be a firefighter I think. When I was in 6th Grade I wanted to be an author so I wrote some of the dumbest most cliche stories ever and then imagined myself saturated all over the country. I would write like a paragraph and then sit back and think of all the future rabid fanboys of the series I was creating and of me making magazine covers and becoming a historical figure people studied in school and so on. That was pretty dumb.

I thought a lot about going into computers when I was a kid.... perhaps a programmer, or something like that (I was a very boring child).

As I've gotten older, however, my interest in the technical aspects of computers has diminished, and so I've decided to pursue something else.

For a brief while I was a depressing child and said 'Accountant', then I snapped out of it and said something normal for a kid a 'Fashion designer' and a 'Archeologist'.

I have been stated to say I wanted to become a "(war) veteran" when I was five years old or so. As a kid I wanted to become a professional athlete, in football or ice hockey.
