I wanted to be an astronaut and a chef as a child. Astronaut's were cool and I liked cooking. Right now I want to be either a chemist, a computer programmer or a game designer.
A Cruise Ship Captain
A cruise ship chef
A Naval Captain on board an aircraft carrier(probably could have been and probably still could be)
A chef
An actor
A doctor
But now I'm focused on being the world's greatest Game Developer
Game Designer, or really anything that involved making games. Currently in college studying Computer Science with a focus on Interactive Multimedia and have found out that I REALLY like programming, so that's a good sign.
I wanted to be a dolphin trainer, when I was a wee little lass. Then I wanted to be an astronaut. Then a singer. Then a Marine Biologist. Then a Paleontologist. And strangely, now I'm getting all ready to study Criminal Profiling.
I loved James Bond growing up (and still do) and really wanted to be a secret agent, then I realised that it nothing like the movies. My chlidhood died that day....
I wanted to be an author/illustrator, but at the moment I have my sights set on publishing my cartoons in some sort of medium, such as comic books or a television series.
Geologist, I was fascinated with types of rocks, volcanoes, and the history of the earth. That was, until, I realized creating my own worlds was much, much cooler.
Super hero. Magical powers. Adventurer in a fantastical universe.
I still have a tiny smidgen of hope that such a thing will happen, but my the realist in me accepts my fate to be a normal person and live a normal life.
I never REALLY wanted to be anything (and still don't), because every time i tried to decide I had this horrible feeling clawing at the back of my brain the there was something i didn't understand about it that either made it impossible or horrible.
Right now I've decided that I wan't to learn something very useful, that a very small amount of people now how to do that isn't entirely bland and do that for a living. I have yet to figure out what that will be.
I wanted to be a Storm Chaser. Even now, if I had the opportunity to become a Meteorologist, and chase after tornadoes and other dangerous storms... I'd do it in a heartbeat! I love that kind of weather, and to be able to maybe help discover a way to potentially predict a severe storm with certain accuracy would be... amazing!
I was asked this question once in kindergarten. I said that I wanted to become a burglar, the teachers were horrified. I never had any intentions to steal anything, I just liked the challenge of breaking out of places.
Needless to say, that desire vanished a long, long time ago.
