Beyond Good and Evil 2, can't they just release it already, because it's been forever since the first one came out.

I didn't see Sony say anything about Ape Escape 4, which I want something about because the last Ape Escape game was that god awful PS Move game, and I try to put that one out of my head like Other M.

Capcom didn't say anything about the possibilities of Legends 3, and I know I'm beating a dead horse because of it, but I at least want some closure on the series. The ending of the second game was a cliffhanger that set it up for a third game, and the fact that they never even released the completed, and fully functional demo of the game makes me sad. Only one person in the US has played it before, and it was a contributor from D-toid.

Nintendo didn't announce or say anything on the prospect of Majora's Mask HD/3DS, and I will keep trying to beat that shit into them until I get it! Come on, Ocarina of Time has obtained multiple remakes, and Wind Waker has gotten and HD remake, so why no Majora's Mask Nintendo!? T^T

Microsoft didn't tell me anything about a proper Banjo Kazooie platformer, but then again Rare is locked up in a cage right now, and seems to have lost one of it's limbs to Conker being in a kid's game again...

Ubisoft didn't give me a reason to care about them, and EA was similar in that regard. :p

Metroid is my big one I think. I was hoping the mysterious 3DS game was going to be one, but I am interested in the one they showed off so I am fine with that.

Majora's Mask 3D, another game I was hoping to be at the roundtable.

I wish we saw Halo 5 gameplay, rather than a cg trailer for the mulitplayer.

Fallout 4 is the obvious one, but I was expecting to see something of Mad Max from last year. Guess they forgot it...?

Oh yeah, I just forgot one... Hey Sony, how about that backwards compatability we were gonna get to play PS1 and PS2 games on our PS4? Slip your mind?
I really thought they were going there with that whole "Suzy" bit during their conference...but no, that just led to the announcement for Grim Fandango. Not that I'm against a Grim Fandango remaster, but that was some serious blue-balling.

Well, most of my desires were highly unlikely to happen anyway. I wanted to see more Final Fantasy XV, but a few days before E3 started Square Enix said that they weren't going to do that. Persona 5 was another one, though I can't say I'm too cut up about Atlus's secrecy on it so far; I'd like to go into that game as fresh as possible. One less chair-centric trailer would be great, though. Most of all, I just wanted to see some interesting new IPs this year...but nothing really struck me, aside from No Man's Sky, which doesn't quite count because it had been announced previously. E3 becomes a very heart-rendering experience when you keep anticipating something that never shows up. Now I know how everyone sincerely hoping for The Last Guardian news feels every year.

Anything Star Wars related. We got a half assed CGI video for Battlefront and NOTHING ELSE. No Republic Commando 2, no word on the game Visceral is developing, absolutely nothing.

Um...anything, I guess? I realized this morning that E3 is over and I went, "Huh. There wasn't anything that go me super excited." I mean, there was Dragon Age, but I've known about that for a while. Same with Aliens: Isolation. I don't know if I'm getting older or what, but E3 doesn't seem to carry the same amount of excitement or have the same amount of surprise reveals as it used to.

StarWars battlefront and the new Mass Effect. We didnt see them. We saw a bunch of the developers jerking off the franchises.

What happened to that whole "leaked" reveal pamphlet that was making rounds about Nintendo's E3 showing?

There were rumors of a Mario Sunshine HD remake, but it seems that either the list really was fake, or they withheld from actually showing it because of said leak.

Well, actually I haven't been looking forward to anything in particular, that was just the biggest disappointment. If you all you're willing to show are 5 seconds or so of a Krogan standing around somewhere and a few pictures, then better show nothign at all.
I liked to call that video "Bioware's desperate PR extravaganza". Note how they continuously stressed how they are the "best" when it came to narrative and story telling. What other reason for them to do that besides trying to make amends for the horribly polarizing Dragon Age 2 and the apocalypse that was Mass Effect 3's ending (or the whole game if you hated it that much.)

They have those every year. Last year they had one for the Xbox One and on it there was something called "Banjo Kazooie: Gruntyland", and then there were pictures showing a logo. The only leak I saw was for the Mario Maker one, and even then people were calling it fake and that the picture was photoshoped. Generally don't believe the "leaks" too much around E3, because more often then naught it's a fake.

Hell, I knew Sony's whole conference last year because my friend and his boyfriend work for Sony and so told me and 2 of my friends what E3 was gonna have for Sony. :p

Also, something's telling me that once I say I'm gonna record Super Mario Sunshine, then the HD remake gets announced. Happens every time I do an LP of a game, and it's been especially a pain in the ass with the Square Enix games I do... >.>

I was kinda hoping that the new Binding of Isaac game would have had more of a presence then it did.

Considering it's coming to Sony's devices first, you'd think it would have been a thing.

I suppose this one got more traction since they were very very plausible.

If they are doing a Super Mario Sunshine remake- Nintendo...pleeeeease don't go bloom overboard. That will be the most retina burning game in existence if they do.

Well, they are the best in their niche... or rather the only ones actually.

It seems odd, however, to promise something along the lines of "you won't believe how far we're going", considering that BioWare has pretty much made the same type of game for the past 15 years (with SWTOR being the only exception). I just find it hard to imagine that we'll truly get something totally innovative for that reason... and honestly I'm not even expecting anything like that. I cannot speak for everyone, of course, but I'd much rather see BioWare continuing to improve on their unique formula instead of trying entirely new stuff. As much as I like Mass Effect [3], thinking about the games this series could have been... just by its individual gameplay elements merely living up to what you can see in other games, without being any more innovative or anything... that makes me almost a bit melancholic.

So yea I'd be totally surprised if truly end up, well, totally surprised by Mass Effect 4. I have the feeling it will be yet another game that doesn't live up to the (needlessly) wild PR promises. Which doesn't strike me as something BioWare might want to do.
If they just told me, well, Mass Effect 4 won't reinvent the weel, but it will be an improvement on every front [and we asked the guys from DICE to help us out with the shooter part], and the game lives up to that, that would be totally by me.

You know they will. Nintendo EAD loves bloom way too much to let it go, they love bloom as much as J.J Abrams loves lens-flare. Ever since they discovered it in the GameCube days they love to over saturate some of their games with it. Bloom on it's own is not bad, however it has to be used with the right colors. Bright colors cause it to become too bright and blurry to where you think the contrast is messed up. It does however work with darker colors such as browns and blacks. Twilight Princess used bloom correctly most of the time, the only time it being really bad is at sunset and the Eldin Bridge section. The Prime series used it well too, but there were still small problems. I honestly find Wind Waker HD's use of bloom to hurt my eyes because the problem is that Wind Waker had so many bright colors.

Worst instance I remember was my friend was streaming it, I was helping him since it was his first time with a Zelda game, and he had just gotten to the cutscene where the Tower of the Gods appeared. The sun was up in the sky, but you could not see the sun at all in the sky because of the bloom and how the camera angle was in the cutscene. The cutscene is in real-time, so whatever time of the day it is, is when the Tower appears. I thought it was just because he was at sunrise, but he wasn't, and for comparison I put in the GameCube one to show how much bloom was added. The bloom is also partially why the "fog filter" was added, because the fog filter dims the bloom a bit down.
