What DLC would you like to see in Skyrim?

I would also LOVE to see the return of the various Lairs from Oblivion. I want my shrine to Sithis, damn it!

But, on the other hand, I definitely want REAL DLC too. As much of a retread as it would be, I would give anything to go back to the Shivering Isles and get into more shenanigans with the most awesome character in fantasy.

Some things that I'd like to see: (provided that Beth put's its money where its mouth is regarding the "substantial" DLC that was mentioned)

-Expansion into neighboring provinces
-More monster types and variations on existing monsters/enemies
-More variety in armor types (offering a more horizontal progression, rather than the more-or-less strictly tiered progression that we have now.
-ditto on the last point for weapons
-Bring back custom spell creation (Broken and abusive as it may be, it sure was fun!)
-More Enchantment variety
-Additional shouts (along with new dungeons and other locations to find these shouts within)
-New extensive quest lines, introducing new and varied content.
-The ability to become a Jarl and rake in tax profit from the smallfolk. Interesting if tied to involved quest line, as well as including a management/customization interface (essentially a fun and rewarding money sink)
-More guild quests
-More followers with assorted variety of skills (and intriguing side quests)
-More marriageable NPCs
-Essentially more, More, MORE!!!


-(Minor)If mods are going to integrate and be distributed through Steam cloud (sp?), then I would a assume a form of standardization can enforced on some of those mods. If so, perhaps compliant mods, could then be distributed to console versions of the game as well?
-(Minor)Better sorting options for potions and ingredients (ex: different grades of restore health potions can end up scattered all around the item mngt screen....this is not fun).
-(Minor)Additional assets for use by PC Modders once the creation kit becomes available.
-(Minor)Let me transform into a dragon.... =P

Maybe some DLC that allowed you to point your sword Skyward to charge and then throwing the energy at an enemy. Sort of a quest to get this awesome sword. They could call it Skyward Sword DLC.

Am I the only one who went out of their way to kill every Thalmor in the entire nation of Skyrim?

If I saw a Thalmor leading a prisoner I always set the prisoner free and slaughtered the guards, Official only if i recognize the authority and i do not recognize yours. sneak around in the embassy? screw that draw sword and start slicing and dicing. rescue the nord from the fort for his mother and brother? sure easy enough, just wont be a thalmor left when i am done.

thats where I would like to see the DLC, ridding Tamriel of Aldemari and thalmor. I dint care for shivering isles though the quests were good, it was the whole environment I didnt like and would prefer not to ever see the giant mushroom trees again...

Another DLC could be bringing back the knights of the nine, starting the order again in Skyrim, maybe even as part of getting rid of Thalmor influence in Skyrim and making the embassy the new home of the order.

A DLC that makes anyone who uses the "then I got an arrow to the knee" meme get an actual arrow to the knee.

Goddamn that's a meme that wore out it's welcome quick. To seriously answer the question though I'd be alright with a DLC that adds a few more factions to the game. Morrowind had so many I always feel a bit screwed that the newer games don't have as many.

I used to have an adventuring partner but he stole my sweetroll. I shot him in the knee with an arrow and now he is a guard who likes to remind me of that incident every time i see him.

Didn't I read somewhere that the landmass of both Morrowind & Tamriel were found included with the game? Cause I'd totally be down with going back to both those places within the new engine.

On topic I'd quite like a return to Morrowind or maybe check out a few different planes of Oblivion. I had a nice little drink with Sanguine, I'm sure he wouldn't mind me dropping by to visit.

Since this is said, or a PC. You know, the superior platform. God I love the smell of flamewars in the morning/very late at night... Not. God, where have you been? Xbox vs PS is so last year, now you two have ganged up on PC. Get with the Program!


OT: I'd like to see an Aldmeri Dominion war, or something that actually gives some hint as to what happened to the Dwemer. Something large and substantial, that I'll actually feel like putting money into. That or something that is very well done, like the LotSB DLC for ME2. Not too long, but it was well done and one of my favourite pieces of DLC, alongside Shivering Isles and that Bioshock 2 one with the Lancers and such... The Bioshock 2 one for the Lancers and because it wasn't too short, and Shivering Isles because, among other great things it did right, Sheogorath.

I have nothing against the PC and nobody was ganging up on it. Its justt i prefr elder scrolls games on xbox. Dragon age, world of warcraft, on the pc and several others i cant think of right now.

2) As someone who bothered to read the Elder Scrolls books, I'd like to see something involving Umbriel. It seemed like a cool place, but Clavicus Vile is kind of a dick.

3) Penitus Oculatus/Synod/Psyjic arc?

4) Something that explains what the hell happened to Atmora/Akavir/Yokuda or why Tamriel seems to be the only continent on the planet that hasn't sank/exploded/frozen over/wandered away.
