I'd have to go for Asterix &....Obelisk? Heh, not quite a freudian slip but theres some sort of pun in there...Menhir spelling mistake...something, something ...Obelix, big standing stone, punchline. Yeah, I'm not good at this.

I like tintin for that classic Adventure story feel, but I just have more time spent with A&O, they feel like an old friend.

I think I'm going to have to go down to the Library this afternoon...

Asterix and Obelix all the way. Tintin is good, but his adventures are nothing when compared with the exploits of the Gauls and their magic potion against the might of the Roman Empire.

Since I actually read it, Asterix & Obelisk. They were my introduction to Roman history in the way Bloom County was my introduction to the Cold War.
