what do u think a fps will look and how u would play it on natal

Anyway, I see NATAL as a big step in the right direction inre. to the future of gaming. I don't know how well it'll work with F.P.S's but in time I'm sure it will be made to work - and I for one am looking forward to that day.

I mean, who does that?
For a living usually means that you live off of what you gain from there, right?
You gain knowledge to use that later on in your life, but you can't live off of anything you gain there.

Conversely, it swallows more of your money.

Personally, I think it would be cool if it actually gave you the option to hold up your hands like your holding a gun, and used a series of motion sensors to sense your movements and they corresponded with the characters movements in the game. That, would be how I want an FPS to play.

I can't see FPSs working overly well on Natal, although Natal could see the return of point-and-click adventure games.

Much like the Wii, Natal seems perfect for that genre, but, back on topic, unless you scan in your own weapon, or you use fingerguns and make pew pew pew noises, I can't really see it working.

I'm interested to see how they pull it off, Natal DOES seem interesting, even if I do fear it'll be the Wii over again. Anyways, as far as FPS goes, I've got plenty of airsoft guns to scan into the game, I think I'll be alright as far as controller goes. =p

The one thing I'm worried about is the walking I'm still dumbfounded about that idea

Probably there will either be no FPS's for Natal,or it will use some sort of Natal/Controller hybrid. It can recognize voices, and SOCOM already did that on the PS2, so surely Natal can pull off the same thing.


Also: Make sure you at least put a minimal ammount of effort into your writing. Writing properly makes others view you in a more positive light. Capitalisation, spelling, grammar, avoiding the abbreviation of three-letter words.

FPS with Natal? Impossible. Even if it registers when you pull the trigger with nothing but your hand ... It needs a peripheral like a gun or something.
