What do ye fellow escapists think about guys and long hair?

I used to like it, but now I can't stand it. Cut your hair guys. That shit is gross. I had my hair straightened at one time since its naturally wavy and I had to keep straightening it every day with a flat iron. It was pretty long (by my standards) and I just gave up on it. Way too much work for a guy that doesn't have naturally straight hair.

When I look back on it...I looked retarded.

i grow my hair long and chop it off in cycles when it gets to about 11 or 12 inches i chop it off and donate it to that wig charity that makes wigs and gives them to kids who are going through chemo and such, and have lost their hair, but i prefer it short, long is a pain

on the other hand a lot of girls have commented on my apparently nice hair and gotten pissed at me when i cut it.

I like long hair. mine is long(ish....cause its really curly, but if it was straigt itd be looooong ) I love it and I think it looks better than shorter hair in most cases, but thats my opinion, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I've grown it to my shoulders and below but I guess I look like a lesbian from the back. I also need to grow my beard too. I should cut my hair and work on my beard now that it's not constantly itchy.

Depends on how long you're talking about. My hair isn't past my shoulders long, but it is pretty long. I like it, and most guys I know USED to have hair like mine but one by one, they all got it buzzed. Not me though, I like my hair.

I'm getting off-topic though, it really depends on how long, and it depends on the guy.

Most of the time though, I don't really care, it looks fine.

Generally speaking, I don't care for it. Of course, my definition of "long" might be different from most. I'd expect the hair to approach the shoulders before I'd consider it "long".

Of course, the way people present means little to me. It might color my opinion of them but that doesn't mean there is no possiblity of altering my perception though their actions.

As long as it's healthy lookin, it's damn sexy on most guys. But guys like girls should always be mindful and have a hair length / style that compliments their facial shape.

Hair sucks. People no longer need it, and nowadays only serves an aesthetic purpose. But once you factor in the fact that no one gives a $h1t about how good or bad you look, and the amount of up keep and maintenance extra hair requires, I have to wonder why anyone even considers keeping it anymore.

I just shave my head, and voila! No more worries! I just wake up in the morning, put on mah uber cool Kangaroo-emblemed hat, and I'm ready to go!

But ah well, to each their own...

I prefer to wear my hair long. If a guy keeps his hair clean, washes it, he can have a pretty good look.

I actually generally prefer girls with short hair, long hair is annoying when you're with em', gets all in their face, and I've generally come to associate long hair as a masculine feature, so it's weird.
