I used to collect eggs. Not real ones, obviously, ones made from stones.

I used to get them from every place I went to on holiday.

They're all at my parent's house now, I haven't bought one for years, but my mum reckons she's bringing them all up next week so who knows? Maybe I'll start again.

Pens. From a young age I always loved pens. Most of the time I didn't even write with them. I just stare at them and admire their shape. Everywhere I went on vacation, I would always buy a souvenir pen.

Did I mention I liked pens?

I have my Final Fantasy figurines and fairies and my husband has his comic books and related figurines.

Our house is a bit of a shrine to kitsch nerd crap, right down to the life sized Boba Fett cutout and Darth Vader phone...

I collect ideas and theories. I tend to lose interest in stories (movies/videogames/novels/whatever) once the ideas have been explained. It's also why I like to read lots of philosophy and science books. Oh, and comic books. Man, some of those have great, crazy theories.

I used to get Warhammer 40K before it got overly expensive/ I grew out of it. Nowadays I don't really collect anything. I tend to buy a lot of clothes, does that count?

If I had the money I guess I'd collect historic firearms, there's some pretty fascinating bits of stuff out there :)

high quality recreations of historical weapons. As does my friend. For me, it started as an interest in movie props, but I like this more. My friend has three high quality WW2 german daggers, and I am in the process of getting a pompeii gladius. I'm particularly jelly of my uncle, though. He has three authentic WW2 unfixed bayonet blades from France, England and Germany respectively.

records! by records, I mean LP's, but I'm not excluding CD's and tapes from this either as I do have a fair amount of both of them too, but I do love records most.

You couldsay I collect CD's, but I have those for a reason other than collecting, so I don't think they count.

I collect comic books, and Star Wars toys. I probably have somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 to 7 thousand comic books, with the oldest being Strange Adventures #10, from 1951. But my pride and joy would be my Star Wars collection, which has some of everything, but focuses on the 3 3/4 inch figures and the 12 inch figures. I have over 1000 carded figures, and several hundred 12 inch figures. I still havent completed my 12 back collection, yet though. :( I only have 6 of the original 12 on card, but I am slowly working on that.

Something here is slightly Freudian

I started collected knives. Any fancy, well, fanciness on a little knife and bam. I want it.

At agun shop I visited, they had some WW1 rifles for sale. Lee-Enfields,, the german, french and russian varients of bolt action rifles. Several of these has folding spike bayonets.

Thought you might have liked them :D

Information. I don't like having..spatial things. I ended up collecting back-issues of the weekly Culture supplement, but I threw them out when I had to move and realized that they collectively weighed about 5 kilograms. Now I just write down the interesting things I ought to follow up on.
