I do what I always do when I beat a game...

Put the next one in and start playing again. The game may change, but it never ends ;)

I usually replay the ending or my favourite part of the game... and then I get a bit down because it's really over :<

If it was a particularly annoying level (I'll catch flak for this perhaps, but the final level in GTA4, with all the crazy shootouts, and bike rides onto thin ramps, and on the fly helicopter piloting), I'll usually apologize to the people around me for swearing so profusely during my attempts, and then I'll explain in great detail the last mission.

And then I'll proceed to explain it to anyone who'll listen.

If the final boss was an asshole - say "take that you mother********* ************ **************** ********* ******** *** *******" usually, if it was an anticlimax, I start muttering about getting money back

If it was something like fallout, I'll make sure I see as many of the endings as possible, re-load an earlier save and head off to complete any side missions I missed.

If it was something linear I enjoyed, I'll play it again, maybe on a different difficulty.

If it was annoying as hell, I will swear at it, then bask in the knowledge I stuck to it and finished it anyway.

Well I usually go find something else to do while the credits are still rolling, looking out for any prizes, then I will look around the menu to see if there is anything else I want to do.

Unless it is as bad as the Starfox Adventure ending, I will take the game to cash converters or sell it to the store I originally bought it from.

After the game cuts back to the main menu, i start over and beat it again, but i follow the storyline in a different manner. (Good/Evil) Ex: Fable 2,Fallout 3, KotOR/KotOR2, etc.

Beat the story or 100%?

If story, than I say, "That is one more game I will not be getting 100% for."

If 100%, then I say, "Is it April first?"

Decide whether or not I considered it to be a good or bad game overall. Sometimes you can't tell until you're a good ways through.

The longest credits sequence I've ever seen in a game is ironically The Simpsons Game, but I knew that wasn't very good before reaching the end. Conversely the best ending credits sequence I've seen lately is in Prince of Persia: Two Thrones.

When i beat a game i normally take a moment to review it in my head, whether it was fun or not, then i go out and look for another game in which to buy.

If it was hard, put it aside for later gaming.

If it was easy, play again with a personal limitation (Half-Life USING ONLY THE CROWBAR. Fallout 3 WITH NO CLOTHES).

I feel a sense of acccomplishment. Like I've done something important and I really want to go telling people about it, and then I realize no one cares that I just beat Gears of War. Then I start anticipating the sequel immediately afterwards. And sometimes I replay it on a harder difficulty just for funsies.
