What do you do during Loading screens?

Ah, the joys of an SSD. The only game I really have to wait to load is DayZ. Everything else loads in a couple of seconds or less. Unless I'm hungry or thirsty, I just sit and wait. It's easy to make a mad dash to the fridge when it's only a few feet to my left.

Most of my gaming is on my PC, and most of mc PC games are installed on my SSD so load screens are nothing really.

Just incase i usually also have youtube of a movie running a my 2nd monitor, or i'm on skype if it's a multiplayer game.

You guys have Super Star Destroyers for gaming? I am so jealous!

OT: I wait. My PC makes loading times practicaly non exsistent and console loading times are not exactly long, at least no game I have played.

Might use the opportunity to run to the bathroom and get a drink and let the dog in or any other short menial task.

Wait. In games like Bayonetta or Assassin's Creed, dick around with combos. With long patch downloads, go check out strategy guides online or read a book.

Loading screens for me don't take very long at all because my pc has good hardware and a clean install of win 7

Depends on what I'm using. On my PC, there's not much loading time between gameplay. On my PS3 for the first few loading screens, I just stare at the screen, then I start getting annoyed at how long the game is taking to load, then I eventually get over it. It's just the first 10 loading screens or so, especially if I click on the wrong thing when fast travelling.

I fiddle about with the controller most of the time. If it's a long wait I sit and plot about taking over the world. Or I give my dogs a hug or my cats. Sometimes I think of all the things I should be doing.

I usually play in windowed mode so I can just tab out and do something else fora bit.
My mouse centers to the middle of the screen or just jumps somewhere whenever my game finishes loading so I'll always know when it's done.

Eh... if my roommates not here, I'll just fondle myself a little bit... sometimes play my guitar if the loading screen is extra long... can occasionally bust out a good riff in 30 seconds...<.<

Ill usually just stare at the screen or quickly have a plink around on the guitar or check the internet if its on or maybe try and bust out some pretend combos on the pad/stick if im playing a fighting game see if I can remember the feel.

Seriously though loading screens arent that long at least not now I remember back in the C64 days though some would last for 3 bloody hours (light gun games were bad) and then if you were lucky you got to play so back then I would put it on to load and then just play with my toys or watch TV (I wasnt very old at the time so toys provided plenty of distraction) You never watched the screen though unless you wanted to damage your eyes.

I turn around and bother my wife who sits across the room from me at her computer. I'll shoot rubber bands at her, walk over to her and grab her boob, or just say random shit to her.

She can always tell when I'm playing a game with load times. "Oh jeez, you have load screens don't you?" At which point, she'll put on the headset or just walk out. Hehehe

For Dead Rising 2? Earn a degree from home, build a ship in a bottle, finish that novel I've been meaning to write...and then when I need to load again thirty seconds later I give up and play a different game.
