What do you do for fun around here?

Gods, I'm bored.

So, what do you normally do to pass time on the weekends, then? If you work on weekends and get other days off instead, tell us what you do on those days. Going anywhere interesting?

I'll be going several towns out of the way for a grand day of with dining, frolicking and antiquing.

Most weekends I just laze around, tomorrow I'm going to the beach with family and a friend of mine. Write a few posts here, do a couple of chores that needed to be done etc. Usually I watch TV or a movie in the evening.

I'm a student so I don't really get days off that often...when I do give up on working for the weekend, I'll tend to play games and possibly go for a run. Doing some photography is also pretty fun, I've been experimenting with timelapses over the last few weeks. Basically anything that is cheap is great, otherwise it's games/netflix.

This weekend I am not working, so I am just lounging around, having a lazy weekend, watching Daria, Breaking bad and The walking dead, browsing Youtube and The escapist, playing Sly Cooper, I might even catch up on a bit of reading and enjoying the weather, just being a slob really.

I'm leaving school in three days and in two weeks sit the biggest exams (which will determine if I get what I want in college) of my life thus far, so these days I'm very rarely bored, just busy, stressed and worried.
When I have the time though I just watch stuff on my tablet or go to my friend's house. Nothing that takes me far from home.

Fuck all, really. No friends. Plus, most of the people in this small town are elderly or middle-aged and keep to themselves.
Not much of interest for a young person to do, and I'm not into partying like the few young folks around here are.

Mostly, I just read. Or take my car out somewhere and go for a hike. Fortunately, I'm moving in a couple months to a larger place, and I'll have my older brother around to hang out with.

With summer here in Minnesota, I'm a bit more active.

I coach a soccer team and we always have practice on Sundays. I also like to try to golf at least once a week and so I try to hit the links or the range.

Otherwise I do what I do every night, try to take over the world play video games or watch something.

As my Title implies, I just saw Godzilla yesterday (loved it), I just got home a bit ago from hitting 18, and I am considering renting a movie tonight unless Bioshock's "Burial at Sea"'s siren call catches my heart. Tomorrow I have to do laundry, soccer practice, and then Game of Thrones.

But really, I play the vidya gaems and annoy people on Skype and via text. Sometimes watch movies.

OT: I watch (and re-watch) most of the anime series I own on DVD and/or Blu-Ray... TV viewing on the weekends bore me to death most of the time, so it's a nice alternative to using my PS3...

Also, if I end up getting, like, a phone call from some of my friends, then it turns into a viewing party most of the time...

I work all the time, so I really don't have a real day off. Plus I do gigs on the weekends when I can get them, which this is the last weekend for such things since it's the end of the season. Also, I catch up on projects.

But I'll humor you, and just say that I do nothing.

I will play a game and maybe read if I'm in the mood. Otherwise, I just catch up on laundry and watch some Youtube.

I live in Texas, where summer has already started. So mostly, I try not to melt and have high electric bills because we have to start using the air conditioner in late February or early March.

Oh and Sunday is mine and my girlfriend's standing date night. I think we're going to a English themed restaurant this weekend called "The Old Abbey Inn". We've been there before, but it's been quite a while. Plus her kid is having surgery and a 21st birthday this week, so I'm going to offer to take them out for a nice dinner.

I don't think I know of many people who are talented when it comes to photography, but then, shy artists and all that, I suppose!

I'm almost never bored; especially at this time of year (exam season). I'm doing jack all aside from revising and chilling out, and feel like I'd happily take more chilling out time. What that usually involves is playing games, reading, watching TV/films or faffing around online.

A combination of games, internet surfing, exercise, school work, and hanging out with my family and occasionally friends usually make up my weekends. It's pretty routine, but in a good way I guess.

lol thanks. It's not bad! It's for a software startup I was at. I've been contracted for 3 weeks of development, going to make almost $4,000 from it so it's wroth it IMO

I seem to get alternating weekends off so today and tomorrow I don't have to work! I tend to just hang around the house when I don't have to go out. If I have the spare cash, I'll go into town and pay a visit to a local independent games retailer who helps me bolster my collection of older games. For the most part though I'll just be online catching up with videos and whatnot.

I struggle with this (and I hate it, because I really look forward to having free time, and then waste it wondering what to do)

I guess, I spend my free time planning what to do with it, usually to have it run out right when I get interested in doing something. Yay!

Graduated from college 3 weeks ago, started my big boy job 2 weeks ago 8-5 M-F, soon to be 10-7, with an hour lunch. evenings and time off is usually a combination of hanging with friends, going out, watching TV/Movies, reading, (comics and novels), probably go up north with friends, grill, vidya games for sure, warhammer 40k, with summer coming up I'm gonna try to go to the range every week, maybe every other week. with the huge increase in pay I'm definitely gonna buy myself a nice gun as a graduation gift to myself . Note bad for 22, soon to be 23 if I do say so myself.
