What do YOU do on the internet?

It would for me too, except that my masochistic friends and I have taken the 40 days and 40 nights challenge togehter, or rather the Until Every Other Bugger Gives In challenge.
As for what I do: this site, some webcomics, a few gaming related blogs and googling of what strikes my fancy at the time.

Last two weeks was my plan to buy a motor scooter, so I was looking up courses for my license, helmets and gear, and where I was going to buy one from.

A motor-scooter, or motorcycle? If you're getting the latter, I'd suggest a KBC helmet. I've been in 5 motorcycle accidents in my time riding. 4 of which involving 1-or-more cars, and only my first was just me letting the bike slide out when I hit a gravel patch. That helmet (and a shit ton of luck) allowed me to get up and walk away from every one of those situations with not but a few scratches.


As for LFG, I read it too..however, I try to wait about a month before I go in to read them. LFG just leaves this sense of incompletion with a single comic...I've got to read 3-4 to get satisfaction out of it. Especially with the current "Serious-storyline" approach they're on.

Let's see...

- Youtube. I spend ridiculous amounts of time on Youtube. It's basically my iPod substitute. Open up Youtube, listen to something, switch to another window, do whatever there. When the song's done, restart or switch to another song. And repeat for hours.
- A forum which I'm not allowed to name because of the admin's utter trollophobia, and especially because I'd probably lose mod status there if I did. Thankfully the members there are mature enough to not make modding there feel like a second job.
- Webcomics, although I just started getting into those...what, 2 weeks ago?...so I haven't really seen enough of them to give a good recommendation because it'd probably seem bad in comparison to another one I hadn't seen.
- The Escapist. I'm probably one of...well, almost nobody else...who joined Escapist's forums after Yahtzee and not because of Yahtzee. Don't get me wrong, though. Zero Punctuation is awesome.

So it's more like "the bet" from Seinfeld. I did that too, I was the sixth person to lose out of ten.

I like to read these forums, read webcomics, learn random facts on wikipedia, watch yu-gi-oh the abridged series, and obviously zero punctuation.

I don't really see downloading anything as doing something on the internet (since you click download and then proceed to go about your business, or lack thereof).

i look around the escapist website (mainly for zero punct, de-rez or unforgotten realms) and talk on some of the RP battle forums.
play guitar hero III when i get bored, and try to get myself into liking world of warcraft again (its awesome features pull me towards it but the repetitive things in it push me back)
and i go through youtube for things like the music video for pork and beans (by weezer, its a good song) its got most of my favorite things like the dramatic gopher or afro ninja...
