I usually do jobs for my family or sell items online for my cash. I cannot seem to get a job, Mainly because IO live in a hick district where, whenever a new part time job appears, the place is bombarded with CV's from FUCKING EVERYONE.

Mooch off my parents because its impossible to find a job in my area, 1.) they only hire in the fall, 2.) theres so many people looking for jobs its actually impossible to apply without making up a crap ton of BS on your resume and then waiting outside of the place your applying to before it opens and 3.) That probably won't get you the job because it seems the person that decides who to hire always has a cousin or family member that needs a job so they pick them instead

UNEMPLOYMENT RAGE!!!

I am an Arcade Technician (there are a few left) in Canada; ya, thats right, I get paid to play Street Fighter :)
Seriously though, I love my job. It pays well and I can do some freelance pinball repair when I need that extra cash.

Well last week I was walking girls age twelve too sixteen to school what a great fucking world we live in when they need five armed men to guard them from being set on fire or gassed or shot for trying to learn. This week is a transitional period where I'm thinking if I should re-up on my contract or not.

Currently work at a civilian nuclear power plant, churning out power. Job can get kinda anal sometimes, but comes with the territory I guess.
Pay is $28/hr, with about a $1/hr extra when working the night shift.

I develop software as a technical lead/solutions architect/technologist/lead programmer/team lead (the time of the day impact the hats I am wearing).
I enjoy the creative aspect of it and the challenge.

Producer/Operator for a News/Talk radio station. Interesting and almost never boring, but low, low, low, pay.

I spend most of my time figuring out how to squeeze the maximum amount of slack time out of my work hours.
Everything from hiding from customers to reorganizing the storage. With my PSP.

Combat Infantryman for the Britsh Army, cant say its a great job lol but its sure got its perks. Thinking of transferring recently though to the Marines.
Its actually kinda strange nowadays as the army used to have to really go out of their way to recruit people but now we have like a 2 year waiting list to join the army.

Well I'm 15 so I just do work for my mum and get moneys. Unfortunately my mum has 5 horses in one open field, so I pick up horse crap, feed and water them, and chain harow once every weekend the stuff that I miss. It's not too great, but isn't as dirty as you might think plus £30 per week is better money than most of my mooching friends put together. (Another bonus: Horses are an excellent way to get fit)

I work as an assistant engineer in my university's union's computer repair shop. We're run exclusively for staff and students of the university and are funded by the union, so we have stupid low prices but me and my boss still get very nice pay! I work whatever hours I can/want in between my classes and get the holidays off except for a few weeks in summer when my boss takes holiday leave.

It's mostly dealing with viruses and virus damage, broken hard drives, doing formats and reinstalls and trying (in vain) to educate people so their problems don't reoccur. I love it! Good pay, good hours, doing something I enjoy with an awesome boss! And the customers all have at least half a brain cell! :p

At the moment i work in a lemonade factory. Aside from the fact it smells awesome it sucks. i have terrible hours and the boss is an absolute asshole.

Hopefully that will change soon as the summer is soon starting and there will be more jobs in the fitness industry available, and i have signed up for the reserves so who knows.

Hah, job good one.

But serious NSW is a hole. I've been out of work for 19 months now because employers are very judgmental and wont give young people a chance here. (At least in Newcastle anyway...)

I dunno about that. I'm from the Newcastle area, Maitland more specifically, and even at 19 looking for my first job people have been fairly honest with me. You musn't be looking in the right places.
