I could probably use a general holiday from the internet, but it helps if I at least take occasional breaks from things like Reddit, Facebook, this forum, i.e. anywhere where this or that controversy is brewing.
I almost always end up indulging in one or another of my music hobbies, whether I end up looking through some of the sheet music I've collected over the years (a hobby/passion that's exceeded gaming and even reading regular books many-fold), listening to CDs (at this point, I've got a couple thousand records, many being modern classical and avant-garde jazz performances that improve with close and careful listening), or playing around on guitar, bass, piano, or the various percussion instruments I've got laying around. Lately, I've been spending a lot of time listening to 1990s-2000s non-profit netlabel IDM that can be found all over the internet, one favorite being this artist (talk about relaxing!):
