I like to play heavy video games. Since I'm not going anywhere, it allows me to more easily become immersed in them. If not that, then I'll just read books. I like comedies, plays, history, and textbooks. Especially medicine, math, or astronomy.

I'll rarely watch movies. I have a huge backlog of them. TV is even rarer, although there are some shows I'll watch on Youtube or on DvD.

I lie in bed flipping the covers on and off, drinking a lot of fluids and eating junk food.
Really not much you can do but acknowledge that it'll be over eventually.

Get up and deal with it. i'll either run the sickness out of me or it will run me into the ground, but one of us is blinking in this game of chicken.

I sit around and complain about being sick, I also play video games and watch tv but it's mostly the complaining thing.
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

As much as I would LOVE to stay home, that's simply not an option for my dear ol' mother. I go to school anyway, tough it out with tests and such (I really can't afford to miss any school right now <.<), and when I get home she pumps me full of RX drugs and has me do homework.

If I'm practically DYING (flash fever and stuff), THEN I can stay home. For a while. If I'm talking coherently the next day, off I go to school.

Long movies (or tv series) that I can sleep half way through, wake up, and it's still on.

Recommendations:
Godfather 1 & 2
LOTR extended versions (9 hours baby)
Buffy, B5, BSG, Farscape

Feel better!

I am curious do you feel weak at all? or can you walk around? if you can walk around maintain constant computer to eyes interaction while browsing the escapist archives (apocalypse arcade, or any of the webcomics here are pretty good) if you cant walk around just sleep or watch TV. also if you can walk around a little more play video games something time consuming that would require thought like Mass Effect or the previously mentioned Oblivion or maybe minecraft. also if you get tired just sleep. the game can and will wait for you to be ready to play again when your well rested (although finish the combat, save, then shutdown) also get well soon dude.

Normally just lie in bed watching TV and reading, maybe some PS3 if I don't end up vomiting from standing up, this is if I was unbelievably ill.

Depends on the sickness.

If I'm too sick to go to school, I usually treat the day like a day off....except no friends, lots of liquids, (sprite, ginger ale, gatorade, soup) and even more lazing around than usual......games, movies, cpu, games, more games.....I barely ever take naps.

If I have a flu/headcold type thing (you know- where your constantly cold, achy, weak, maybe even nauseous) I'll take a lot of hot showers/baths throughout the day. It's amazing how much better they can make you feel, even if just for an hour or so.

If I'm puking constantly I'll go the entire day without eating a thing and always make sure I'm near a toilet or have a pail with me.

I tend to lay on the couch with my netflix queue. I then see how many things I can watch and stay awake for.

Games that don't require quick thinking and something that just occupies my attention such as Minecraft and WoW.
