5 minutes free? what is this nonsense. I never have free time. Lately I'm either applying for work, cleaning my room to re-organise furniture, or reading. Or on rare occurances, gaming. I've been reading and gaming for as long as I can remember(though I think reading came first since it's joked in my family that I came out of my mum with a book in my hands) so those are always my fall backs when I have "free time".
The things you listed doesn't make you seem like a very busy person.
I'm actually a lot busier than I make myself sound. I rarely game nowadays and my room is quite the task. I don't remember how big exactly it is but it is a converted patio into bedroom and I have a lot of stuff that I'm trying to figure out where it's going to go so I can move furniture to give myself a better gaming setup and to get rid of stuff like my desk. Unfortunately I have a lot of stuff that goes under my bed which is one of the things being moved so figuring out where is out of the way enough to move all that and still have space to move a couch and a bed is a problem. And figuring out where to put my dressers and my bookshelves and my filing cabinet...ugh. Plust I have my mum who I have to drive places, my brother who I'm a caretaker for and have to drive places, and my best friend who's car died and since she doesn't have money to fix it at the moment I'm driving her places too. A lot of my time is spent driving. Not to mention filling out applications then going to turn them in. Ugh. Lots and lots of driving. And since I can't multitask with driving and reading(not to mention I don't currently have a working radio in my car so audio books are out on that one)AND still have to change my brakes(which is happening this weekend and possibly putting a working radio in my car). Luckily we still have places out here that don't take online applications(since half the places that do don't even look at them anyway)so driving out picking up applications, filling them out, turning them in......Persistence alone should have me a job by now but alas it doesn't because our employers are stupid out here. Oh and on top of all that since my dad works a lot I wind up running all the errands and buying food for the family........and then on top of that we have two dogs to take care of and I have regular chores that I do since I'm unemployed at the moment and can't pay rent and do instead of paying rent...I just typically don't like typing up everything I do day to day since I don't have consistent days anyway.

Clicking on random threads here. No joke. I just click on the first thing on the recent posts lists and see if I can add anything, regardless of how useless my post is.

If I'm in front of my computer, I check the Escapist or Youtube. If I'm not, I text people, or just think about random things while checking my watch about every 15 seconds.

Internet. Smartphones are truly the ultimate timewaster - five minutes is enough time to read a Cracked article and bask in the horrible idiocy of the comment section.
.
the comments really arent that bad...in fact I feel like theyve improved since I first started reading (2007) that or Ive changed
It depends what you count as bad. Generally speaking, it's a fairly safe bet that at least a few people will;

- Accuse the site of a heavy American bias whilst ignoring the rest of the world simply because more than one example on a list was from the US
- Post a litany of "what about X" comments containing things they believe should have been in the article
- Complain that writer X is much funnier than writer Y. At more extreme times, simply state that writer Y is awful and that they hope writer Y didn't get paid for producing such a piece of shit article
- Fuckbunkies
- Whenever there's an article about things from history which didn't exist/weren't the way we picture them/are nothing more than stories, posting a barrage of highly amusing and original comments along the lines of "LOL you forgot Jesus wasn't real LOL LOL LOL"
- Helpfully inform other posters of how much money they recently made working from home, or possibly on an interracial dating site
- Awful, awful pun threads
- Just quote lines from the article, and being inexplicably thumbed up
- Complain about the article ("oh shit, another whiny, preachy piece of bullshit from Cheese!") after reading nothing more than the title.

It's a wretched hive of scum and villainy, more akin to YouTube than a comedy site. I think a lot of it is due to the bad comment system itself, which dissuades discussion and promotes saying idiotic things which are guaranteed to earn upvotes from morons. That and the fact that since it's a comedy site, far too many of the readers think they're funnier than they actually are, and can't resist the chance to show off. I write a bit in my spare time, and I have considered submitting article pitches for Cracked, but frankly I don't want to deal with that mess of fuckwits ripping apart my work because they didn't get it or, all evidence to the contrary, think they can do better.

Cracked isn't the worst comments section on the internet by a long shot, but it's still less fun than sticking your dick in a threshing machine.

Get dressed, brush my teeth, use the toilet, get a drink, something to eat, do a little washing/ cleaning.
...you only use the toilet when you have a spare few minutes?

I just tend to drop whatever I'm doing and go, if I have to, rather than storing it up for later :p

Do nothing. Just relax and enjoy the moment, think about how my day is going and how I feel.

I used to grind a couple of Pokemon battles but recently I've been playing Super Hexagon or just checking the net on my phone

Haha, not only when I have spare time.

But when I realise I have free time the thought will cross my mind.

"Well, I don't really need to, but I've got a few minutes spare. Might as well go see if I can squeeze out some piss!"

Kind of. It's a more efficient way to piss.

Well...go here obviously. And maybe play a few short levels from a flash or Iphone game.
[sub][sub]Wait it takes you 5 minutes? Don't know whether to be impressed or feel sorry for you[/sub][/sub]

OT: I usually listen to a song or something, probably something from the BlazBlue soundtrack because funnily enough most character themes are roundabout 5 minutes long. Sticking Alexandrite on is always a good idea.

I have 5 minutes? Plenty of time to get to 3-2 or the stage 3 boss of Ninja Gaiden. Or at least I could before I started moving but I'm almost more than half-way done with the move I think...yeah, that sounds about right.

OT: I usually never have just 5 minutes free. If I have free time at all, it's a few hours. I usually spend time with the lady if I can. If she's busy or elsewhere, I usually game solo for a bit. Been playing lots of DOTA and dabbling in Star Conflict lately.

During my breaks at work, I'll look at the Escapist (*coughrightnowcough*), Engadget, Wired, Destructoid, Tom's Hardware, and other general geeky news sites. These days I mostly ogle the HTC One for a bit.
