What do you do whilst waiting for Steam games to download?

I ask this because I just bought Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition and my Internet connection sucks like a porn chick on uppers. 41% complete...and it started almost 2 hours ago!

How do you guys pass the time? Gaming? Posting? Twiddling your thumbs? And as games get bigger, is Steam going to lose some of its advantages when you could just walk to the store, buy your game, bring it home, and install it in less time than it takes Steam to do its voodoo (and when I say "walk to the store" I mean "Best Buy could be six miles away")?

Whenever I download big slow things, I always just start the download before I go to sleep and leave it running. By the time I get up it'll be completed and I didn't even have to wait for it.

Normally I have other work to do, be it homework, or doing something around the house, or something from my job that I had to bring home and fix. But I just try to keep busy. Oh, and I eat. A lot. I like the noms.
