I have a large shelf dedicated to storing my games, and I keep them because whenever I get rid of one I find myself itching to play it the next day.
I keep them because in about a year I will play them again.

I keep all of mine. Being a PC gamer sucks sometimes...no tradebacks. I don't mind too much though; I paid for the game, I played the game, I finished the game. It just goes back on the shelf.

I trade most in. If its something that I may play in the future I will keep it but those are usually only sports or FPS games. And that assumes I am talking about console games. I am more of a PC gamer and there is no real trade options there.

I never sell anything back to stores, I'll usually loan it to a friend if they're interested in it.
Depending on how much I like the game I may or may not keep tabs on it.

Unless they were really bad I keep them, chances are I'll play them again at some point.

It really depends. I've kept all my games until I bought the PS3.

Now I just sell whenever I complete them. Or if they're shit.

I keep them. I've never traded in a game and then not regretted it. You don't get anything close to their value, and you're down a game. It's not worth it in the slightest.

I put them back on my shelves in case I want to play them again later. Which as it happens I usually do.
I wouldn't spend one hundred dollars to buy a video game if I was only ever going to play it once.

I keep them.

I could never trade them in, what if I wanted to play them again?

If I have a specific purpose in mind, I'll trade in- like when I managed to buy Diamond version from a shelf worth of ps2 games I didn't like.
But I don't just trade them for extra money- They might come in handy, like when I wanted to get rid of ObsCure, decided last minute I couldn't be bothered, and then my friends came over and we decided it was pretty fun in a group.

I like to keep them as trophies. I tend not to go back to games much, but I like to have them there to remind me of my conquest. Or of the fun I had playing them, or their story/world, or whatever.

Depending on how good they were, I do one of three things:
1. Keep them
2. Trade them in
3. Go achievement hunting, then trade them in

If I like the game enough I will usually keep it play it again after some time and if I'm a big geek for it, use the art for resource to make customs. If I don't like it dog food and emotional filler for people I hate it is.
