^ That's my baby. 1999 Plymouth Breeze, Expresso Edition, 2.4 (which means it's just as unremarkable as any other Breeze)

I'm a poor college kid. My parents don't help me pay for a damn thing (in fact, my mom has stolen my identity twice and utterly destroyed my credit) and I can't really be bothered to have a new car. That little purple beast gets me from A to B just fine, and runs damn good considering the 180k miles she's got on her.

And come on. It's purple. What's not to like?

I took a Mustang GT for a test drive today and started to wonder. What do the Escapists drive?

So here is my question to you.
What do you drive and what would you drive if you could have any vehicle?

I drive a Chevy Impala but would like a Lamborghini Diablo.
Im going to buy a Mustang GT when I get my drivers license :D
I'm currently trying to get all of my finances in order but it looks like I will be getting one soon as well. That test drive sold me on that sexy car.

I cant decide wether about importing the car or buying a used one, since they dont sell Mustangs in EU. Most of the second hand cars are from 2005-2007 but I'd like to have the 2011 one.

There's this boat up north you can drive onto that dumps you in Melbourne. Also this always catches me off guard, the impromptu location comments I mean.
Well a friend of mine just got bought a Golf GTI last week as well. So I wanted to check.
I'd take the car and run, clearly that's what your parents wanted.
Few hopes and dreams can be achieved in such a dreary place.
I'm staying right where I am for now, it's still sunny and warm and I don't want to run into a natural disaster.
Ugh, agree with that, I'm over cleaning up floods and cyclones and then more floods. Screw QLD.

Also, here's my car.

I live in the US so I don't know about imports. If you have the money and you are set on the car I say go for it.

2008 Ford Focus 1.8 zetec hatchback....i feel pretty awesome in this compared to my old fiesta.

As for a car for the future something like a Audi R8, no doubt there will be something much more awesome by the time I get close to affording it though.

My parents got me a 2004 5-speed Toyota Corolla S. I love the car. It's so much fun!
If I could have any car, I think I'd go with a Scion XB. Manual, of course. I just like those cars.
A Scion Bob? Really? How will you transport your Nukes?
slave labor
Well, they do have designated nuke haulers, y'know.
I don't know why, but the XB is just fucking FUN, Mana!
We all know slave labor is not an effective nuke delivery system. You do remember how that worked out right? As for fun, well you can't drive your scion to half the places I can drive my truck.

Then again I can drive the Argo just about anywhere, even across water and on top of 20 feet of snow (yeah I did that), and I don't really find that thing fun to drive - most of the time.

i would like a ford RS200 (not escort RS2000 - look it up) or any of the group B rally cars from the late 80's

also a volvo 780 estate turbo intercooler - that was a sleeper car and a half!!

2002 Dodge Dakota. And my dream car is my 2002 Dodge Dakota sitting in my yard, simply cause I earned it myself, not like all the snotty little punks on here wishing they had better than what their hard-working parents handed to them. You can have a dream car when you start working.
I bought my 02' F150 lariat band spanking new. First vehicle I ever owned. I still have it, 140,000 miles later that truck has been from coast to coast and aside from a replaced transmission has never given me a bit of trouble (and the transmission was my fault anyway). Out of all the vehicles I have had and have it is still my favorite. I am probably going to drive that thing into the ground. Then fix it and force my kid to drive further into the ground.

I had to earn every cent I spent on that truck, and I was earning by being enlisted in the military.

Still, I don't really have a problem with the kids that were given vehicles. I think that tiny bit of resentment I do feel is only there because I was never given things of that caliber, my bother and sister on the other hand where both given vehicles.

Still everything worked out better for me in the end so maybe not being handed shit really is the way to go.

It's late and I am no rambling, so I am going to sign off.

I DRIVE NOTHING! YOU HEAR ME!

For the record, I read that in a German accent, just curious what others might say.

But yeah, no license, and not even going to have enough time over the summer to get one if I get into the school I want.

Maybe not, but it's damn cheap :p

I stick on the roads anyway, soooooo...yeah.
Awwww. Why is it not fun?

Don't even have a driver's license.

But this is what I want.
I laughed so hard when I saw the pic, I've wanted one of those cars since I was a kid.

I drive a '95 Dodge Intrepid. I absolutely love this car and will have it as longs as they keep making parts for it. If anything did happen to it though, I would never buy another car. I really hate driving any kind of car outside the Intrepid. I would be looking into a good Dodge Dakota pickup on the double if my Intrepid bit the dust.

I have no problem with kids getting cars from their parents. I have a problem with kids being ungrateful for those cars and wishing their parents would buy them a different one. My first car was a '97 Dodge Intrepid that broke down constantly starting the first month I got it. I didn't like it but i never told them i wanted something better from them. Instead I got a job and started saving so I could buy my truck.

That sound mighty familiar to me... Kinda... Hmmm...
