I really get scared of the idea of going blind. Like blindness scares me a lot, being in the dark forever...

But not as much as losing my hands in an accident would. At least a blind man can use walking sticks and guide dogs and stuff. A man without hands can never be self sufficent.

I saw a woman a while ago who got attacked by a pet chimp, in case you didnt know chimp attacks are ghastly, chimps go for peoples weak points, it gouged out here eyes, tore her face off and mauled her hands. If I couldnt see and had no use of my hands Id say just shoot me, but we live in a world where euthenasia is illegal and I dont know if I could put it on a family or friend to make them kill me... So being that woman is the scariest thing I can think of.

I suppose severe disability scares me because I put so much stock and self esteem into what I can do.

-Losing my teeth (false teeth are expensive and I'd be afraid of them falling out XD)
-Blindness/deafness
-Loss of limbs (sensing a pattern?)
-Being a human vegetable (I told my parents to switch me off ASAP if this ever happens)

-Spiders (...kind of. I try to scoop them up and take them outside but the way they move is a) creepy and b) fast)

-That moment when you're really close to the edge of something and you're afraid that you're going to insane and jump or someone is going to push you. I blame Silent Hill 3 for this.

-Having my life determined by or made to feel inferior because of something like my gender or race or other arbitrary things that shouldn't make a difference but do. (I think I've been absorbing too much news and spending too much time around gamers. Well, idiot gamers anyway.)

-Sea cucumbers *ahem*

Sometimes I get spooked in the dark but I just think about it rationally.
