OT: I'll go with cool beards as well. Also average body size, not too muscular, or too fat, but not really skinny either. Sadly I'm the really skinny type myself.

When I was doing figure drawing the male body was far more interesting than the female form. At least to me. Don't get me wrong, I like women and boobs and all that good stuff. But from an artistic standpoint I find the athletic male body far more fun to work with.

Burne Hogarth, in particular, makes the male body look like a machine. And it rocks.

Since I'm not of the straightest persuasion, for girls I would have to say... proportion. As in natural proportion, if that makes sense. It comes from being in art, I think; I'd rather not see giant sweater cows or a large amount of junk in the trunk if they don't suit the physical appearance well enough. It's more about the whole picture for me anyway, with guys or girls. I'm not altogether picky on body types as long as its not rail thin or excessively overweight.

Straight guy here and I gotta say, gerard butler in 300, there's quite a piece of man-candy. Yeah, wish I looked like that. Oh well, couple of years of hard training, nuthin' to it. OP: Right there with ya in regards to beards, hence the aforementioned example.

I love soft feminine curves alot but there's also something to be said for the poetry of the male extremely defined human machine in motion.
