What do YOU find attractive?

Dark hair. Interested in rock climbing, running, swimming, tennis, horror films, some field of science, theater, and spicy food. Looks matter, obviously, but that's not what's going to keep me around.

If she has a thing for cars(not just, oh look, a car from Japan/Germany. It must be good because it is from Japan/Germany) and motorcycles. Well, that's just awesome.

The thing I find most attractive in a women is a beautiful/pretty/cute face, a kind, fun-loving, caring personality, and a love of nerdy pursuits. Beyond that, body type does not matter much, so long as they are not obese. Hair color does not matter much either.

Well, I have a thing for sort of short hair (as in reaching the jaw-line), particularly if it is a decent shade of red. That and big eyes, preferably well outlined (I don't really get the people who complain about eyeliner on girls).
Curves (duh), moderate bust size (B/C), and a fairly sleek body.

However, being a guy, girls in general go as well.

what do i find attractive?
body: not skinny (ladies, NOT skinny, NOT model-like.... actually, i don't even know a single bloke who likes skeletons), not fat. and please, not too big breasts; c-cup is almost more than enough (b is bestestest!). as i am not a giant myself, taller than 1.80m (appr. 5.9ft) is too much. smaller than 1.60m... i'd be afraif of stepping on them
no short hair; it has to cover the shoulder
haircolour - not fake; i prefer a (dark) brown or black; blonde doesn't seem to work well for me
eye coulour: doesn't really matter. it's not a "bad thing" if they're opague, a very clear iris is just... "bonus"
nose: straight, with the tip not pointing downwards, but not too much of a snub nose either
clothing - not slutty. just... no.
voice - not as high as the powerpuff-girls'. it may very well be a little bit "smokey"; adds to the "mature" aspect, you know, as in: can be taken seriously (i just have a really hard time taking women seriously who sound like they are only half as old as they actually are)

so much for the looks, now to the interesting part (it actually is pretty important. not too long ago, there was this new "hottie" at work; physically/optically she really had everything i could wish/hope for... then she started talking. you don't have to have a ph.d., but... a brain... that's a must have ^^" after that, i really didn't find her attractive anymore. not at all.)
smart - if i wanted to talk to someone who doesn't understand a thing i'm saying, i'd hang out with a street light.
rational and sensible, but not a calculator on two legs
independent - if i wanted something clingy, i'd buy a dog
nice, but not afraid of having & telling her own opinion. being nice also fits very well with a contrasting sarcastic and/or ironic kind (got to love it ^^ )
not too... normal (that is: adapted; see also the part about her own opinion. and stuff.). being a little bit crazy (crazy as in good, not crazy as in needs stationary treatment) also helps a lot!
mature, but not overly serious - i just cannot stand the girly-giggle-giggle-awwww-how-cuuuute! kind; don't get me wrong, i like horsing around, but... well, you get the idea. i hope.

so... of course the looks are the first thing i recognize - since that's usually the first thing to be noticed, but this superficial first impression doesn't count that much, and will be adjusted/overwritten a.s.a.p.

What do you think you find most attractive in a potential partner for example being male I find women in general attractive (duh!) but in particularly those who are tall, curvy and quite odd in their mannerisms or just have a well rounded personality.

Also, it would be nice if u could at least state your gender so I can see what the general consensus is e.g. most girls like smart guys or guys like blondes more etc.

That's really weird how you mentioned weirdness is their mannerisms because that automatically gets noticed by me. It's like yay I'm not the only one who is weird haha

I'm attracted to red headed girls. I like the shy types mostly, makes them seem more mysterious. Generally i prefer them to be smaller than me [that sounded reallly bad lol] I mean height wise. I don't really dig when a girl is taller than i am.

Personality wise i like someone is quite individual in their tastes like myself. I have a lot of alternate opinions and interests than most people i know, so that in a girl would be great. Thats about it. Quite specific. Thats just an ideal choice i'm really not that particular with every girl.

Hey, thanks for saving me from having to write half my post. I'm happy with any hair colour though redheads are the "ideal" for me. I like the quiet, shy types, possibly geeky/glasses etc style.

In my current situation (recently broken up from a long relationship) I'm not sure how I'd react to anything, so then nothing's my ideal; most likely I'd back away from it all but there's the possibility I might just dive right in instead... Which would probably not end well.

Nothing beats a sweet/cute personality. I can't stand for sweet/cute, and above all, slightly helpless/hopeless girls.

In regards to looks, fat girls is an instant turnoff. I don't mind them as friends, and i have several "big boned" female friends i spend a lot of time with, but it's not going to generate any sexual attraction in my direction.

Expanding on the "helpless/hopeless" comment above, i find it adorable when girls feel slightly helpless/hopeless sometimes (although not directly stupid girls), and you have to "hint" them the solution to their little puzzle and they just take their time getting it.

A recent example:
I have a very good (and very cute!) female friend, who unfortunately has a boyfriend. I'm out partying with her and two of her friends one day, and she is drunk and tired and wants to go home, so she calls her boyfriend and asks him to come pick her up their car. She wants to bring along her two friends and drive them home, but forgets to tell her boyfriend. First of all i have to help them find the car to begin with because she is slightly too drunk to get the instructions her boyfriend gives her over the phone, so i talk to him and figure out where he's parked.

Here comes the pearl of the situation though: They're in the process of moving a few weeks after that, so their car is stuffed with... well stuff, and there isn't room for her two friends. Just watching her face when her boyfriend tells her that, and hearing her reply "Can't we just move it around?". "No, we can't". "Oh, I'm sure we can" she says, and then she spends 2-3 minutes looking through the window of the car trying to figure out the little logistics puzzle while I'm using the same 2-3 minutes laughing my ass off at her helpless expression of disbelief because she simply just have to work her drunken brain around the fact that there isn't room for her friends. It was so comical a situation, but at the same time also so cute.

I also had another story with her from another party trip where i slept at her apartment afterwards, and also ended up laughing my ass off because she made a cute little fool of herself in an argument with her flatmate when she woke up after a few hours and was still drunk. It also adds to her charm that she is very small, even for a girl.
