Ahem...I could link here but I'd get banzored.

Shock site = Any link that sends you to a site where something REALLY gross is happening.

Don't say its name, or it might appear - mod

And the only thing that I think really scares me.(Some things creep me out but it just takes a few minutes for me to get it under wraps, Also I hate cheap-tricks that flash and stuff thats not scaring thats your body getting ready to rip people apart.) Its guns that scare me really. I know I promoted guns on another thread but guns really add a multiplier if somebody has one and is experience. But if I have a gun then everythings back fine again.>.>

What happens after you die? that thought makes me scared, the sea, I almost drowned when I was 2-3 and my baby swimming teacher had the bright idea to take us out to sea in a kayak (it was only a metre deep but we were only half a metre tall) then tip the kayak over with the idea that nearly drowning would teach us to swim I now have trouble going deeper than my waist in the sea. Dark enclosed spaces knowing something is coming to kill you scares me. Facehuggers. When a car comes past my house and it sounds like my door slamming and I think someones in my house. Thats about it, it may seem alot but im being honest not just listing 1 thing :p

What I consider scarey? Alone...in the darkest of nights....with a single ray of dim light illuminating me...surround by *shudders* giant black spiders or spider-like creatures that doesn't make a single, insignificant sound. What can be scarier than that?

I don't really see the whole fuss about Half-Life; I found the head-crab zombies almost comical.

I don't really get 'scared', I get nervous, and I want to stop, but I never shriek in terror. The most I get is surprised by one of the cheap tricks that games like Doom 3 pulled every now and then. Or like in Bioshock, where the scientist/doctor turns off the lights, runs behind you, and spooks you on your way out.

Personally, I don't enjoy horror games because they don't tend to have anything beyond playing with your emotions. Very rarely does a horror game have a good interface. Graphics tend to be very good, but eye candy alone doesn't cut it for me.

Yeah i'm more for a mindfuck in a horror game then a cheap trick. Like one silent hill pulls with the pyramid head. Can't wait until homecoming...And more mindfuck..

In no particular order:
spiders (and their webs)
new borns (they make me nervous)
being resuscitated after some catastrophic event (just let me die)
virulent, unrelenting disease with no cure that causes painful deaths (particularly the biosafety level 4 organisms)
dairy products
anything with barbie

Dude. Don't get me started on how ridiculously inappropriate inventing spiders was. That alone is utterly convincing that there is no god.

Children. Darkness. Loneliness.

That's why FEAR, taking away the action / FPS sequences for a moment had the potential to be one of the scariest games out there. For me, at least.

Anywho, Children is obvious. Not Children in the sense you know, Children in the sense where they don't talk and/or smile at you, like they know too much, or at least more than you.

That's freaky.

I'm sure someone will make fun of me for the last one, but...heights to a degree, clowns w/ makeup, and...mirrors in dark rooms. I'm serious. If I am so much as in a hallway with a mirror on the wall, and the lights are off at night, I am sprinting for the light switch.
YES, YES those mirrors are GODDAMN SCARY. also watching someone i care about die while i'm helpless, worst possible thing ever. Combine them and I'll die purely from fear,

otherwise, physical things don't scare me that much, I'm 6'3" so most things/people are smaller than me, hehe.

I'm afraid of cameras. Go ahead, laugh. I know...it's way too stupid to make up.

More than that stupid fear, though, I'm afraid of myself. Physically, I'm a second degree black belt who has once done 30 diamond-pushups in a row without even feeling any fatigue at all...and I hadn't even warmed up yet at the time. Mentally, I'm insanely good at messing with people's minds - when lying I can convince virtually anyone of virtually anything - and I could easily deal intense or even incurable mental/psychiatric damage to someone in the blink of an eye. This is balanced out by caring for other people to the point where I've been called out for being too damn nice for my own good...but what if I ever make a mistake? Or worse...what if something causes me to just...snap, and I cause all kinds of pain? *shudder*

Puppets and manikins!

I think it's just something to do with the faces that hide malicious intent and emotion (at least they do in my mind) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jrt5cEaeFU I've watched hundreds of horror films but nothing terrified me as much as the first time I saw that advert for the first time unexpectedly at about 3am

After reading this i've also came to the conclusion I have two more fears.

Lonilness - Leaving ones mind to wander around is never good when shit goes down.

When all the shit goes down - Had a dream like this last night. I was walking over to my freinds school there was skyscapers in the distance and on the next street too. We make small talk while we walk to the car.

Then a helicopter veers by the scaper very low near the street. And then another comes barrerling out of the sky and hits the ground. I hit the ground with much speed and then a skyscaper in the distance gets bombed and a lady came on saying how theres only two underground bombing shelters.

That scared me, a lot. It was so vivid and I wish not to have another one like this.
