What do you find unattractive or turns you off?

Boobs that can be nearly mistaken for basketballs. I prefer them smaller but more perky.

Also, smoking, too much makeup it makes them look like a barbie doll, hair that looks more than a mop than hair, and.. Twilight would just kill any pretense of finding them attractive whatsoever.

"No, I will not wear pale makeup all the time, stand in your bedroom corner like a creep while you sleep or pretend to suck your blood.."

I definitely agree with people on the smoking one. The smell is terrible, and even if they don't do it around you, you can often times smell it on someone.

Arrogance is also a huge one. This applies to anything in general. I find arrogance to be very obnoxious.

Lying is another huge one. I hate being around people who frequently lie, whether they think they're protecting me or making stupid claims, both make me rather angry.

Excessive use of deodorant or some kind of scented spray. Biggest one I seem to run into are guys who cover themselves in Axe and reek of a cleanser-like odor that burns your nose.

Insecurity or general lack of confidence in oneself. I do not enjoy babysitting people while they sit around moping regularly and avoiding everything. Granted, everyone has their moments, which I'm ok with, but if it becomes a regular occurrence, I'm gone.

Lack of proper hygiene. Greasy hair, bad breath and sweaty odor in particular tend to be a turn off.

Excessive ghetto attitude or style. A mild accent is ok, but when it gets into the territory of making someone sound unintelligent, their pants are hanging halfway down their ass, or they have 'bling' jewelry on, chances are I don't want to be around them. Also, that weird walk where some guys will hunch their shoulder over a bit and hold their hand in front of their crotch while walking looks really dumb, no idea what the hell it's called.

Excessive Patriotism. This partly ties into arrogance, as a lot of overly-patriotic people tend to be really arrogant about it.

Excessive Religious Dedication I'm ok with laid back religious people, but if I have to listen to speeches on a regular basis or they want me to attend church of some kind, I'll pass.

I also won't date someone who opposes various human rights and feels that it's necessary for them to govern how other people live their lives. An example would be those who try to prevent gay marriage and various other freedoms which don't hurt or effect anyone else.

I also find people who go on crusades about drugs and such to be irritating. I'm not particularly fond of them and I don't use them myself, but it's still really annoying to hear fanatical rants about it.

People who refuse to drink at all, or drink excessively. Drinking is fun sometimes and I don't want to be lectured for getting drunk on occasion or be around someone who refuses to join in. However, the opposite is also bad and extremely unhealthy.

I know there's some others, but I'm running out of ideas offhand.

Bad kissing and insecurity. Holy crap they make my thing crawl in.
I don't know how I missed the first one, too much tongue is like the grossest thing ever.

I'm also going to put down sports fandom. Sports are so boring to me.

- Smoking is a big one for me too, it's not so much that I think it's a disgusting habit, although I do think it's a disgusting habit, I just find the whole image of a girl/woman smoking a cigarette very unattractive; like 'instantly not interested' unattractive.
- I also hate the whole ditz/valley girl thing. I don't know what the proper term is for that sorta thing, what whatever it is it turns me right off. I can't stand girls like that.
- Excessive make-up.

No sense of humor, or just a general inability to understand context and follow along with a train of thought. Also a lack of curiosity, don't like to see people who don't at least wonder at the cause of things in their lives or even what goes on around them. That and if we're talking about relationships or things in sig.others then I would include 'lack of booty' to the list.

Girls with flat butts need not apply. Good to be honest.

Bad teeth is pretty big turnoff as well as bad breath. I also am turned off of girls that are fat (pretty wierd right?), not just obese girls either, if a girl is overweight or "husky", I still find it unattractive.

sexism, no sence of humour, single minded (ie, no more than a vegetable and a puddle of drool.) and fat chicks.

no offence to thoes who are larger than life, but no matter how great you may be, you eat with your eyes first, and when your eyes are commiting suicide, not very appetising :x

You know, sometimes I'm amazed at how clueless some men are about the relationship between women and makeup. As much as I hate to break it to you, most of the women in the world you'd be quick to consider "attractive" have a lot more makeup than you might think -- done properly, it can look like you're only wearing a little when really, you're wearing a lot.
I would generally agree with that. A lot of guys seem to be rather ignorant as to how makeup works, especially foundation.

Also, I find it somewhat disappointing that makeup and fingernail polish is apparently evil to some, as I generally like to dress in a goth/punk kind of way with dark clothing, dark fingernails, and dark makeup. Although, I don't put on as much as what people would consider a stereotypical goth. So, no thick raccoon eyes and black lipstick, bit excessive for me, but I do use black nail polish.

I assume they mean 'trashy' looking make up, but who knows... I imagine some people dislike how I dress anyway.

Same here.

Smoking just seems to kill the mood as well as the user.

As for the stumbling with words, if once in a while there is a bit of confusion getting a point across, I'm fine with that. But when they can barely do simple stuff such as if they have a very low reading level, or IQ or something like that, it just feels awkward.

Also, too much make-up. I think that some eye shadow or other things with the same type of effect (when used subtly) can look great, I don't want someone so processed they look like they came from a factory.

More the attitude than anything else. The person I find attractive has to have words coming out of her mouth that are worth hearing.

Smoking, drinking, drugs, any clear signs of makeup, television style thin, most short hair styles, swearing, negativity, shoes that aren't practical such as high heels or a large earrings, tattoos.

Of all these, a negative outlook is by far the biggest turn off to me (ideally a realist, but optimism is fine too). Smoking/Drug are among the most unattractive thing a woman can do.

I'm not huge on teachers, but the one that I simply do not understand is the "sexy nurse" fantasy. What is so hot about nurses? Nurses stick needles in you. Also, has anyone ever seen a hot nurse in real life? I'm not one to hang around hospitals, but I don't think I've ever seen a female nurse under 30.

(Breath)

Final note: scrubs. I believe that someone somewhere decided to tale on the task of creating the most functional form of clothing possible while at the same time eliminating anything that could potentially be considered "arousing". And what they created were scrubs.

Smoking is a big one but my dad owns a bar and I'm in there a lot (because he works me like a slave) so I'm used to it but just because I'm used to it doesn't mean I have to like it. Also Facial piercings I find unattractive but aren't a red flag for me unless there big and obnoxious. Another one is the "laugh" god I hate that so much and is basically a deal breaker right there. I can be flexible with these and I usually give girls that do these a chance because they might be persuaded to stop or be someone special but that's highly improbable.

While I'm fine with guys wearing small amounts of makeup like mascara or blush, once they put on a dress I'm immediately put off. Yes I'm gay in case you couldn't tell...

An excess of body hair. On your scalp is fine and in the erm... private area, fine. But in other places, that's a turnoff for most guys. And before anyone starts to make a fuss about it, I'd shave everywhere except my private area and and my face, no one messes with my soul-patch and knowing me with a razor, I'd probably castrate myself by accident.
