I'm looking forward to it, I played an Elementalist in GW1 and they were one of the more fun mage classes I have played in any MMO, only topped by the Warlock in WoW(IMO). It looks like they've streamlined the game a lot more and I can't wait to jump in and try out the Elementalist. I don't think you have to worry about dual class anymore either, at the very least I haven't read anything about it. Hopefully I won't run around with Emo in front of my name anymore. >.>
If I can remember correctly, I believe they said they removed the dual class system.
On topic, I think the game looks great. Everything I heard about it just makes me more and more interested in it. Can't wait until it's released.

I am looking forward to this game so much, loved Guild Wars so this one is surely going to make me feel the same way.

Also would of liked to have been one of those Commandos even though they would have been broken as fick

My expectation is that it will be a good MMO which fills a niche in the MMO market. It will be compared to WoW, some will say it's better than WoW. Then again, at this point, some people would say having all their teeth pulled out one at a time is a preferable alternative to WoW.

While I think it would be enjoyable, I probably won't buy it. It's not the kind of MMO I'm looking for. I'm not a fan of story driven MMOs. From my experience playing MMOs, I believe the best MMO would be one which relies on the players to make an emergent story in a sandbox world. A combination of Minecraft, A Tale in the Desert, and Planetside would be amazing.
So like APB but without the suck or an Saints Row MMO?
Sort of. The one big problem I had with Planetside was hard factions. I think players should be able to fluidly change their allegiances and make their own groups. Hard factions tend to lead to one side becoming dominate such as in MAG.

I also liked the blank slate approach of A Tale in the Desert and Minecraft. You were basically faceless, but your works spoke for you. Not your title or gear or achievements. Walking down the Nile in A Tale in the Desert is mildly amazing. You see entire cities and monuments, and players did all of that.

How about a videoame that takes place in a world where 2012 is real but didn't end the world but turned the notch on certain environments to 10(forests are overgrown, jungles nearly seem alive, deserts are big and deadly and nearly every building of stone, steel, and glass were ravaged in the process) and an extreme evolution/mutation/adaptation in the local flora and fauna of the world as you gather followers to create a commune of survivors and eventually establishing your own self sustainable city and rebuilding society while jointing other cities as united city-states also giving your choice of where to build your city? (if you need me to elaborate on this pls quote again)(also, first on idea, this forum exists as proof that this concept is my idea)
Yeah, that would be a game I would play.

There are very few multiplayer RPG experiences to be had. I think guild wars is a great blend of standalone rpg + multiplayer.

The no monthly fees should draw people in, and the story and rpg elements should hook them.

I've been keeping up to date with the game to this point, and I can honestly say this might be the first MMO I will actually play. I've played the first Guild Wars a LITTLE, didn't get far, and I gave WoW a day to impress me. It failed.
I've got a Noble Necromancer Human in mind~

I had enough fun with the first one to warrant picking it up, my continued attention is going to largely depend on how much they employ instances. The lack of a persistent world beyond just the cities was a real turn off for me in the first game, even without having any subscription fees.

I'd rather pay monthly for a larger persistent world and get to see/interact with other players. If I wanted to have what can ultimately amount to an essentially single player experience, I would simply play a single player game, which isn't limited by the trapping of an MMO.

In that case my creativity has reached a level to where I can log on to a forum start typing stuff, delete the first stuff, and create a video game concept! I'll rule the world!!!...in that game I mean!
