I hate our black metal. Dimmu Borgir is doing way better in the US than here. I wish we could sucsessfully export music that's actually any good.

England

- The chavs and their murder of the English language.
- The way that most things are advertised with sex - there's a time and a place for it and I don't want it all over my internet browser or television trying to sell me stuff that I don't want! Sometimes I wonder if I accidently wandered on to the adult channels.
- You're only a real woman if you're beautiful, fashionable and skinny. I like my curves, slight belly and the fact you can't see my ribs!
- The way our government suck up to the Americans. It seems that we can't function without Uncle Sam's say-so. (I have nothing against America as a whole, but I would like our politicans to grow a spine)

During the three winter months, it's fucking dark all the time! Here in Stockholm, the sun comes up after 8 am all of december, and it sets at 3 pm. >_<
This, it can be pretty fucking depressing never seeing the sun with my awesome sleeping schedule on the holidays.

And I guess the mandatory army.

we have about as many idiots in our country as anywhere in western society. But our idiots are the most ignorant and bigoted idiots in the world

USA: I hate how, not only is the majority christian, but that they treat people who don't believe in religion like their soul purpouse on earth is to convince them of the ways of satan.

#2 thing I hate:
-----------------
That NEITHER party in our farce of a democratic society gives a damn about what the citizens in this country want or say and only care about their party, personal agendas and ensuring the ultra uber rich get even richer DIRECTLY at the cost of everyone else.

I'll stop here because I could easily post about another 99999998 things and I don't think The Escapist's webserver has enough storage.
'I could never run for President of the United States, all that shaking hands of people I don't actually give a damn about. I would be exhausted after ten minutes.' Winston Churchill

Whenever a candidate for a US election is on the TV they are shaking hands with almost everyone in a 10 mile radius. Its a bit confusing, there are 300 million people in the US, is Obama going to shake all of their hands to get votes?

What don't I like about my country? Hmmm, well we are up to our necks in financial crap, whenever the government tries to do something the media and other party tear it to shreds. The price of university fees rises just in time to make me pay more (I will be one of the first paying more) and a company with the name of my country made one almighty **** up in April last year (I know its an international company now but still don't like them anymore). Thats about it. I live in Britain.

Jante's Law.
It's sickening that we grow up with a mindset that makes us into humble pussies. I didn't suffer from it when I was younger, but it caught up with me.

From Sweden, btw.

I really don't get people like that. We have a few in Australia (not as many or as outspoken as U.S I think) but they are bloody annoying. Jehovah's Witness people are always going around doorknocking trying to convert the gullible. One good thing they provide is the opportunity to slam a door in someone's face.

France:
We go on strikes for stupid reasons, pretty often.
While we have decent medical system,or education is crap.Don't get me wrong, you learn alot of things, but the system is ridiculous. If you get an engineering degree, you don't know how to be an engineer,so when you get hired, you learn on the go.It's exactly why I dropped out of my school to go study elsewhere in Europe
Politics is heading towards a messed up US system, where you have 2 major parties systematically trying to bring down the other, making the people suffer in the end.
Although younger generations are changing this,we still remain pretty self-centered.
Finally,we are relunctant to change.People are still working and thinking like it's still the 60-70's and wonder why jobs are being relocated to cheaper places. We don't work smart, and sometimes,we don't even work hard either.

Growing racism, really?
All I've managed to gather is that in sweden we can't say anything because that could be racism.

IIRC there was this guy that got a ticket for saying "******", he didn't say it to anyone and the cop that gave the ticket didn't even hear him say that.

I mean, what the hell? Apparently that's something which happens alot more then I'd like.

I hate the fact that the vast majority of Americans are arrogant, self-centered and culturally blind fools who border on illiteracy. I hate that most of my nation consists of people who are tradition-bound and absolutely hard-nosed about their patriotism despite the fact that our politicians cannot be trusted and fail miserably to truly represent the interests of their constituents. I hate that our justice system is consistently bogged down by logical fallacies and contradictions during trials, and that our Supreme Court can overturn Constitutional provisions based on a subjective majority opinion regarding legal precedents that they freely interpret according to their own interests.

I hate that nobody here can be trusted to treat driving as if it poses a severe and imminent threat to other people's lives if not done responsibly. I see an average of four turn signals used per day and I can't remember the last time I drove the speed limit on any highway without being passed by a dozen vehicles that were a quarter mile behind me in my rear-view mirror just thirty seconds ago. I hate that people here actually believe that driving ten over will make a significant difference in their ETAs at work or home. (The reality is that if you drive 10 over for ten miles in a 45 mph zone you're going to arrive at your destination a measly 1.7 minutes faster than the next guy. You're also going to have decreased windows in which to react to hazards, and a sharply increased braking distance....)

I hate "American pride" and the assumption that we're better, more worthy people than, say, the folks living in Nigeria, Guam or Nepal simply because we're a military powerhouse who used to be economically viable.

I hate a lot of things about America.

The US' reputation.

Edit: I also hate cars and would love to go to a country where I can just ride a bus/walk everywhere and never have to worry about driving.
