Forced tutorials annoy the shit out of me. Even if I've played hundreds of hours of other games with similar mechanics, and even if I've beaten that very game several times, I STILL have to sit through a boring few minutes as the game tells me what a controller looks like. That's why tutorials should be integrated (don't know what I mean? Look at Mass Effect 2's first level--it's a combat tutorial that takes place as part of the actual game) if they even need to exist in the first place. Also, if you're going to have a tutorial like the one in, say, Modern Warfare 2--everyone's favorite punching bag--make it optional. It gets really old to be taught how to play a game that you've been playing for years.

Also, people bitching in multiplayer. If you don't like someone's tactics, DEAL WITH IT. I don't like campers, but if I get camped, I just remember where they are and come up with a way to deal with them. Next time, don't whine about how unfair something is, retake the advantage (after all, campers don't move very much... they're not hard to sneak up on if you're smart about it).

Thirdly, 12 year olds with microphones. This is pretty self explanatory.

Finally, NPC allies. I can't even tell you how many times I was sneaking up into perfect ambush position when my allies decided to go Rambo on the enemies, leaving me out of cover, in plain sight, and with several new holes in my body. Besides, they don't usually do anything other than take a few shots to the face and then die--but strangely, they always seem to be more resilient than the player character (have you ever noticed how you'll go down in a shot or two, but your allies can often take half a magazine of assault rifle fire before they go down?).

I could probably go on (enemies that never need to reload, too few checkpoints, unpolished games, unbalanced gameplay, etc.), but I think that this covers the highlights of my gripes. Sorry about the minor ranting.

Kids under 17 who play M-Rated games.
I don't think a generalisation like that is very good. How about "Pathetically immature people who play Mature games"?

I'm not saying being immature isn't a bit funny at times but when your mental age is that of a 10 year-old, it's just not funny in any way.

Something I hate, something I hate... I'm a big fan of having good characters so... bad voice-acting and annoying characters. Also, my games' crashes and whatnot.

Glitches that occur in parts of the game which are involved in the main story.
Especially in games with massive gaps between checkpoints.
Oh, that's another one, making a game "challenging" by just not giving you any checkpoints. Ever.

Constant crashing...oh and THAT guy. You know, the one character on your team that thinks he's the best. He blows your cover and everything. Especially in games that rely on tactics. Yes, you, SOCOM: Tactical Strike.

Regenerating health in games that shouldn't have it (looking at YOU Call of Duty/Mass Effect 2/Bad Company 2)

Relentlessly poor voice acting and/or animations.

Immature people on multiplayer games (PC has less than anyone else, but dammit they're still here!)

Invisible walls

Non creative ways around puzzles, only what the developer want you to do

no 1 hit kill enemy

artificial AI increase (Like faster cars in a racing game)

Health that can only be gained by smashing boxes (outta health? Outta boxes? Outta luck.)

Point and click puzzle games that don't have any common sense. (like say you need to open a tool chest. But you can't just go to the home depot, you have to go everywhere to find a hammer and a screwdriver to ply it open)

Terrible games that feel a Busty chick in a shirt 4 sizes too small makes a good lead character.

Extremely long, unskippable cut-scenes.
XD nah man. Then you can make a running riff track to them. Unless the scene is so stale you can't even make lame jokes about it

Exclusive DLC.

I can understand exclusivity, I can understand DLC, but exclusive DLC? No-one will buy your console because of a peice of DLC, it's just practically the devs flipping you the bird.

What game is this? ^_-
Take your pick really. I'm going to have to use X-Blades as my primary example. Except she just doesn't wear pants

The fact that even after you've completed the game and want to go through it again, some games don't let you skip the damn tutorials. & sometimes this drag on for agees!

Ooo...
When the dialoge is just cringy (seriously, write better material, the fact it's a video game is no excuss!)
When random battles are far too frequent (I just want to get to the end of this corridor some time this decade!)
Confusing level design (I shouldn't have to walk around the game world with my eyes glued to the mini-map not the pretty graphics 'cos I've no idea where I'm going)

I hate Zangief. Come to think of it, quite an alarming amount of Street Fighter characters.

Outside of specific games, I hate overzealous fanboys. I'm not sure if this counts, but I hate the media's general portrayal of games, as VILLIANOUS, MIND-ALTERING MURDERER MACHINES.
