The book or the movie? Cause the book had a lot of good throught provoking arguments to it. Might not have been the best thing, but it gets you thinking.

The movie on the other hand removed most aspects of this in an attempt to get the most shock value possible out of the thing. It might have actually been shocking if I had not been desensitized to that imagery through most of my life. Shame they killed the message.
