I hope to contribute to a conversation, learn a little, and see if anyone found what I said note worthy. Yes, I like getting messages about being quoted. It makes me happy.

Yeah, I like to see "all of the above" as well. Mainly though, I just like a nice discussion about something that is either relevant to the people posting, or that I am personally interested in (e.g. my last thread, about the music of Fall Out Boy and their latest album). Preferably though, it's something that lots of people are interested in and that provokes a thoughtful and varied debate.
