What do you listen to when you play?

So we all like to listen to something when we're killing zombies in Left 4 Dead or robbing cars in GTA4 but what do you listen to?

Anything Classic Rock most of the time. Led Zeppelin. Deep Purple etc. Metallica usually if I'm killing zombies.

nothing really, unless there is music in game. In games like left for dead, I need to listen for the telltale zombie sounds. Same for in gears(cept for locust stead of zombies)

This, any other sound distracts me.
If its a fighting game then i may listen to some music, but most of my games have great music so i dont often.

If it's story driven game (FF X, MGS etc.) the in-game music. Anything else, whatever mu iTunes feels like putting on.

I love blasting some death metal when I'm playing damn near anything online, mainly BlazBlue, but some of the bands would be, Ensiferum, Blind Guardian, also for some reason I'll find myself listening to Primus or any of Les Claypool's other projects

The game's soundtrack. If there's isn't one and the audio isn't important to gameplay (eg hearing enemies coming up behind you) then something. Not sure. Depends on my mood and the game.

Depends what i'm playing. If its anything other than fallout then i usually listen to rise against, metallica, slipknot etc
If i'm playing fallout then i listen to the ingame radio stations. I like Enclave radio the best. nice relaxing music. GNR has some good tunes too though

Anyway, I usually listen to some classic rock, Mastadon's new album Crack The Sky, or the game music and sound if it's needed or good like Brutal Legends.

Depends on what I am doing in-game.

If I'm questing or in an PvE environment, it's usually something electronic: The Knife, Röyksopp, Ladytron, Goldfrapp, et al.

If I'm doing a bit of PvP, it's old Metallica, Amon Amarth, Motörhead, Lamb of God-anything that will get the old adrenaline pumping. Well, that and the barrage of curses I'm tossing out when people are playing like imbeciles.

I have to listen to trashy music like Scooter so I don't get distracted from the game, if there's a plo I leave the sound on.

J-Pop, because listening to LOVE HAPPY CUTE whilst shotgunning people in the head in Fallout 3 completes my day.

Unless the music in the game really sucks then I'm not going to listen to anything else but the game soundtrack.
