The one I used for my computing class was named after me so when I forgot it(which happened frequently) I would get it back (I'm currently the only person with my first name at my school)
My external HHD is called Narnia and the storage on my phone is 'The Talking Box'

I haven't named my flash drive, but my 2 portable drives have names: Lasse and Nisse. It took me a while to realise the implications of naming my computer Eveline. She apparently has a harem who looooove to plug into her, hurhurhurhur.

I have three:
Sticky bus, Busy stick, and James the M.
First two are because they are USB sticks.
Third one because that's the maximum length allowed.

I don't name my memory sticks. That said It appears to refer to itself as Kingston, so I guess I should call it that.

I have Hal 9000, although no one ever gets the reference, and I tried to name another Death Star Plans, but it exceeded the character limit. I might have to steal "Flash Gordon". that's downright hilarious.

Removable Disk D:

My relationship with my flash drive is strictly professional.
This. Its the case for my 128MB, 256MB, 1GB, 2GB and 16GB USB keys/flash drives, both 500GB portable hard drives and both 2TB external hard drives.

Used to name them after processor types, most of the old ones I used are extinct. So the most recent one is known as Harold ((No clue why but that sounded like a good idea at the time.))

I have a lot and I usually name them
GN-001, GN-002 and so on after the Gundam 00 mechs.
Also it really sets the mood at work when people see that your flash-drives are neatly organised

Ha! Love that.

I've only ever named a flash drive once, to distinguish it from all the identical ones my college course gave the class.

I've got one that came with a name I really like: CleverStuff.

I name everything on my computer based on what my computer's named. Here are come examples:
Computer: The One
Flash Drives: The Portable Ones
C:/ : The Main One
Secondary Hard Drives: The Big Ones
Back Up Drive: The Backed Up One
Recycle Bin: The Trashy One

etc.
