What do you name your rival in Pokemon?

In R/B/Y/FR/LG, Bob - that's the name of a guy I know with pretty much the same personality as that particular rival.
In G/S/C, Twatbag. He keeps hitting me.

On occasion I'll name my protagonist after a character from another game - so my rival's name changes accordingly. "Revan" and "Malak", for example.

Since I usually use Riku as my character name, my rival gets stuck with Sora (so NICE to beat the snotty little wimp on the odd occasion).

But I used to use whoever was on my aggravated side.

Once I named my character Up Your and the Rival as ASS.

I must confess, my first Pokemon game was gold. And I named my rival ??? because I thought that was supposed to be his name rather than an expression of anonymity... So I guess I didn't name my rival.
