If the option is presentet I'm the talker, otherwise I'm a Jack of all Trades. I don't want to be stuck with one tactic in case that one dosen't work out.

THE THEIF!
Or, more accurately, the guy that steals ANYTHING that looks like it's worth a bit, kills anyone with expensive stuff on them, then sells it for MASSIVE PROFITS!

In case you don't understand, I'm that guy that sells EVERYTHING to that Creeper thing.
As of now, my Morrowind profile has 300000+ gold :D

Kensai baulders gate 2. Will be really surprised if anyone knows what I am meaning.
I've never actually played a Kensai, the idea of a Fighter not wearing armour worries me. I prefer a Vanilla Fighter or Barbarian to be honest. Although Ranger's and Bards (I like Skalds)are other favourites. Not really big on Magic or Rogue type classes, but I do quite like Sorcerers even though they are Mages for Noobs.

Usually a rogue. I always found the roleplaying element much more interesting (consider characters such as Robin Hood, Malcom Reynolds and Waylander - +1 internet if you know them all). I also like being able to rely on dexterity for my defence/armour class rather than cumbersome armour. Typically an archer, sniper, duelist etc.

Usually i will begin the game as a lowly merchant, exploit any holes i find in the economy, then purchase whatever gear and men i can. By this stage im usually a lower level than other people but with better gear, and more backup. Then i like to sit back with my crossbow whitest my soldiers do the work.

If the game does not support a merchant class (curse you world), then i play as a leader of peasants, i declare myself awesome, and befriend and bum or looser i see, getting them all on my side and ready to back me up no matter how sober they are.... This is an alright strategy as i have many men (unarmed ramble) at my disposal and i have no need to charge into battle, but rather observe the slaughter.

If the game does not support a leading class i tend just to be a suicide bomber (strap some grenades/blast radius fire-spells to my body.) up my ST and AG and charge in bombs blazing.... never works tho....

Damage sponge. Walking tank with a great big minigun/claymore. Intelligence of 5 and an endurance/ strength of 10.

I'm a sucker for gimmicky classes rather than all-out fighters/tanks. Summoning minions is good fun (provided the thick critters can follow without handholding). I've played Oblivion a lot as a pure mage but a high dmg staff makes it pointless fast. Then I discovered being a stealthy archer lets me be even more of a nuisance ^^.

In MMORPGs I'm the most harmless one in the bunch untill my debuffs sink in.

Depends. In Fallout with guns and all I prefer being sneaky, in fantasy games...usually some sort of warrior with a little bit of magic.

Mage. Always. Anything with magic. I've played far too many games to be interested in the same ol' swords and shields bullshit that warriors provide. Stealth is usually broken in most games so I avoid that altogether whenever possible. Magic just has too many paths and interesting abilities. Sure it sucks in some games, but in others it completely dominates. Magic all the way.

I prefer to pack light and be sneaky when I can. I also like to pack weapons that minimize fight time, sniper rifle, super powerful spell, etc etc. I tend to play a mixture of smart/charismatic guy with bonuses in strength or dexterity depending on the game. In Oblivion, I went almost exclusively mage for the first time and really enjoyed it. In Fallout 3 and New Vegas, which I will be grabbing today, I played a smart/talky/sniper guy.

I prefer to fight smarter, not harder. If I can hit them before they see me, or finish the fight quickly, that means less risk and less, you know, dying. Dying is bad for business folks...well unless you're an undertaker or funeral home. XD

I'm the scheming stylish one. Always max out my speech/barter/charisma and make a morally ambiguous, annoyingly lovable scum character.

Fallout 3? Sunglasses, scoped magnum with either a headband or cowboy hat and one of the cooler looking merc outfits (or leather armour).

And a soul patch or a GODDAM GOATEE.
