School was the best time of my life, I had the knowledge, I had the friends, I had not a care in the world, life was a movie, was just enjoying everything. Then College came along, I spent a year there failing in all my courses cos I didn't care about, courting my then-girlfriend, and flunking lessons to play air hockey, it was also a rather care free amazing time, even if I was seriously underperforming.

Now I'm out of college with just one A-Level, I've no partner, no job, no real knowledge, just my friends, my thoughts, and my knack for getting mega drunk.

I'm still loving it.
That was amazingly spot on for my school/college experience up to now, the only thing that's different is my Air Hockey was Table Football.

School was amazingly social, I loved the way you saw about 100 people in a day and talked to almost all of them, I wish I had a job where I was talking to or meeting that many people all the time. Close knit groups are fun, but I prefer being around loads of people like at school.

School to me seems like a distant memory right now, even tough I'm barely a few years out.

What is the one thing you remember school for? Your one big impression?
I remember thinking it was a waste of time since I already knew what I wanted to do (IT techie) and already knew how to do it (heck at TAFE I was a 2nd teacher for all intents and purposes).

I remember high school very well considering I'm only one year out (and one semester away from jumping into college).
I remember both dread and happiness.
The worst moment had to be where I came in from school after missing a week (scarlet fever) and my biology teacher still and me do the test. His tests counted about 70% of his grade. We took about four or five that semester...
I was top of the class till that happened. I honestly think thats when I stopped caring...

I remember people saying how much you will miss high-school. That's incorrect. I hated high-school. Now, University, you will miss that.

Also, anyone who has those dreams where it's the first day of school, and you're running around the school, but you can't find your classroom, and the halls are emptying, and you're lost... yeah, you don't stop having those dreams.
