I just turn off my internet til I disconnect from said game... no reason for me to get all huffy about it and start screaming.

If I'm losing and its fair I will stick around though.

I don't say anything. I just quietly bow out when everyone else is preoccupied. How are they supposed to know it's a ragequit if I don't say anything? My departure could be for any number of factors for all they know (connection problems, have to get ready for work/make dinner/take a shower/go to bed/etc).

Cave Johnson- We're done here!

Seriously just tell the team I have to go, they suck and i'm going, or my lag is forcing me to go. After that say well... we're done here.

You know what, FUCK YOU GAME! Fuck you right up the Cinnamon bun. I'm done with your cheating ways

Usually when I come back to the game I breeze through the part and forget about that rage that I had, it's a weird thing

I only rage quit in one game, DBZ, and even then only people who set their char up to "literally" spam a unblockable explosive wave over and over. I don't mind someone who uses an attack repeatedly, or just getting owned by someone who is far my suprerior, but when they don't even want to play the game, I get rage.
I say something like "really? your not even gonna play the game? any loser can look up spam characters on the internet"
then leave if they do it again, bastards piss me off. then they get a unsportman-like/cheating player review :)

other than that Im willing to lose 100 to 2000 in a L4D2 match not even bad mouthing my team mates, or just get completely stomped in any other game and laugh it off.

I rarely rage quit, but when I do, I ...
never mind.

Seriously though, I think I've only rage quitted once or twice in my life. I think both times, I didn't even say something. I avoid insulting my team mates or arguing with them as much as possible, even when I feel like it would be all within my right to tell them how much of a jerk their being. Insulting and arguing with "allies" is counterproductive 99.9% of the time (in my experience anyway). Rage quitting is even more counterproductive. There has been more then one occasion where I end up playing with just one other guy against 5+ opponents, and I have always fought the good fight. On rare occasions, I can even win such games, in which cases, I just feel sorry for the rage quitter(s).

But if I were to let my temper get the best of me... I guess I might say "Now you see me, now you..." and just quit the game.

I never, ever rage quit.

But I do sometimes make a tactical retreat.

I used to like to say "Sorry guys, gtg. I left the cat on the stove."

Followed with repeated mutterings of 'god dammit you fucking stupid piece of shit' or shouting 'I WILL BURY YOU!'.

Usually, it's something like:
"I PAID for this, holy shit ... You know what, fuck that noise, I can't take this anymore."

I actually rage quit Gears of War tonight, with huge quantities of swearing and general cursing, the likes of which if I were to repeat here, I would most certainly get banned. The reason?

RAAM. On Insane. Yeah, 'nuff said.

I had a nice soothing session of Red Faction: Armageddon demo afterward. Feel much better now.
