I'd ask her out someplace so we could get to know each other better, so I could decide if I thought this was a good idea.

It's fairly unusual for a girl to come out and say that to you just out of the blue though, unless she's been stalking you for years or her brain is under the influence of some serious chemical entertainment products. Girls usually want to get to know stuff about you first, before dropping the relationship question.
