Just because I don't like something doesn't mean other people can't. The people who believe that their lifestyle or whatever is what's "right" and that everyone should do everything exactly the same way are the people I dislike the most. I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
The problem with what I'm saying is that I'm always going to sound like a hypocrite. Maybe I am a bit of a hypocrite. Sue me. There are rules and there are exceptions, and there's always a point where you have to draw the line. If you want to hate me for disliking those who shun others for their differences, go right ahead. You're entitled to your own opinion.
The problem with the world is that people try to find just one problem when in fact there are several contributing factors to every event in the history of existence.
The world is fine. A couple of bad people and things here and there do not, no matter how hard they try, make the world bad.
Everyone is too cynical. I have tried to help people and do things in completely innocent ways and people have come out with stuff that I would never even have thought of. As an example when I was at school (years ago) a bird flew into the window next to my face, coming from a country background I said to the teacher that maybe I should go outside and check it's okay. She responded with 'You just want to get out of the lesson and play outside' I remember looking at her in complete shock.
Don't even get me started on the 'everything is about money' bullshit people come out with. People invented money if we wanted to help homeless and starving people we could. There isn't some overeaching alien force preventing us from doing it. Merely our own rules that we invented. It's like we are all self brainwashed. It's disturbing more than anything.
My friend actually had a go at me today for being too considerate and putting other people before myself...
I wasn't entirely sure how to respond to that. I thought that was a good quality...silly me.
