To be perfectly honest I sighed very deeply and said "already?" when I saw the commercial. It isn't that I don't acknowledge the games a very good, I'm just getting tired to all the realistic military shooters coming out. I played modern warfare two quite more that I thought I would, but after beating it on its hardest difficulty I just had no desire to keep playing, I didn't even touch the multi player, and I have never had a desire to replay it. And the ability to keep playing a game after you have beaten it, and the desire to replay a game six months later is what separates technically good games from great games in my opinion.

This might say more about my beliefs than about what I enjoy in a game, so let me just end with this. All of the recent call of duty games that I have played have been very good, I have every expectation that MW3 will just as good, but I am getting sick of this particular type of FPS and will not buy it. I might rent it if I get really bored, but probably not.

I expect it will have a ridiculously stupid but highly entertaining campaign, which makes up for its lack of logical story with a bunch of fun, epic levels.

I nervously hope it will be at least 12 hours long...

I have no idea what's going on with Infinity Ward though. Didn't Activision let them go?

I've always thoroughly enjoyed the CoD games they're my equivalent to a brainless action movie.
Sit down, switch off my personal analytical software, enjoy.

(plus, i like 'splosions. MICHEAL BAY! MICHEAL BAY SPLOSIONS!)

My little sister loves these games. She loves the Call of Duty and Modern Warfare series' more than Cardcaptors and Land Before Time COMBINED. That's why I can't take these games seriously; I will forever see them as games for little girls, along with the newest Barbie game and anything involving Dora the Explorer.

So, yeah. Opinion: tainted.

I am pretty impressed by the new "World at War" game that isn't about world war 2, instead World war 3. I would absolutely love it if it had more gore like they had in world at war and destructible buildings that aren't scripted events. But yah, pre-order imminent.

I like it when Activison does the game. MW is like the nerd who thinks he is the shit and tries to hard at sports. It has all this "Advanced technology" and tries to be realistic yet the day a combat platoon has access to a tactical nuke or has a EMP I will then take MW seriously. The story is kinda like wtf.. MW1 was good I must admit. The reason I like WaW and Black ops is because it already knows its not serious. Hence why they have Zombies and you can deploy a toy RC. Their the stoner in the class. You can't help but love them.

It's time to blow up the world baby. It will be interesting to see what the world looks like after World War III. I'm hoping the address some of the, uh, "liberties" they took with the plot in Modern Warfare 2. We shall see.

I'm sure it will be a decent way to kill a few hours. I'll be renting it, but I'm not buying it unless the multiplayer is a massive improvement.

I'm mad excited for it. I play the games for the story (shut it) and I want to see how this shitstorm is going to end. And it looks like basically World War 3. It. Looks. Sick.

But after this one I may r may not buy another Call of Duty game. Unless the next one is straight badass wrapped in awesome. I haven't played Black Ops yet, and I probably won't get it til it's price lowers. Alot. I only play it at my friends on wager match or Combat Training.

BUT! I hope this game closes out this trilogy with a big enough bang. I can't wait.
