true true. when I wanna unwind I play gamecube. or PS2. someitmes xbox. fable TLC heh
I think Nintendo should start investing in the new mind control video games where you put some helmet on and it tracks your brain waves turning them into commands in the game now that might be a awesome way to unwind !

I have one, and I like it a lot. I still don't have many games for it, yet, but I'm looking forward to buying others.

My first thought was that I still have three more Heart Pieces to find before I have a full Heart meter.

I guess that's a good sign.

It has outstanding potential. That said, Nintendo isn't really doing anything with it. They've sold enough Wiis and "Cooking Mama"-style games to keep their wallets padded for all of eternity, so they're not making any games that are catered towards their fanboys. But hey, you've heard this all before....

There was a really big buzz on the platform itself but absolutely no games have made a scratch on the charts and overall.

I don't really like it at all.

1: I have big hands. My hands are more fitted to the Xbox 360 controller than the Wiimote or PS controller.

2: Nintendo has gone too soft for my liking over the years.

3: There aren't any games that I would actually enjoy on there. I would have loved to play MadWorld, but the fact that it's in black and white completely turned me off. What's the use of having blood when you can't be dazzled by its crimson color?

My ultimate reason: I play games to relax and relieve stress. There is no way in hell that I can relieve stress by flailing my arms around like a crackhead having a seizure.

Great for old women who want to get "fit" again. I'll diguise my disgust of the Wii when it brings out more games like House of The Dead: Overkill. The amount of "fuck"'s in that game made me so happy. *sighs*

Wiggling a stick for an hour is not playing in my book.

Besides, amount of shovelware successfully makes me blind to any good and hardcore (you know, hardcore for Wii - No More Heroes... or... ee... others) games that I might like.

It's ok. There aren't that many titles for it that excite me, but those that do are quite good.

He loves it, he hates it, she doesn't care... it evokes a lot of dissenting opinions. My personal one that I do not believe others should be forced to share is that while a few of its games are fun, most are just full of poorly implemented gimmicks. Games like Mario Party and Wii Sports are pretty good for what they are trying to do.

I'll still always prefer a controller firmly in my hands rather than waving a stick around.

I love the wii. I find it really fun. Also it's my only console. I can't stand classic controllers! So that the main reason I like wii. Also I care less on graphics unlike people with 360s. There aren't many games that I like. But I spend most of my time on World at War and on my laptop. XD

I really like the wii and I'll tell you why:

I bought a bunch of shares in Nintendo before it came out and sold quite a few of them last year when it was really riding high. They made me a lot of money with that machine.
I have one too. I don't play it as much as my ps3 but there are a few titles I rent here and there. My wife gets the most use out of it and she's very happy with it.

Unfortunately the more mature games that are worth playing are either older ports or simple rail shooter type games. The first original "mature" title I got was No More Heroes which was probably the most tedious game I have ever bought (and I've bought jrpgs) and made me realize that all the critics can be wrong. Since then, I rent the ones I'm interested in and while they have all been better than NMH, I still have yet to find one that I must buy.

They need to get R* to make the Wii an exclusive GTA (probably hard after Chinatown wars bombed despite being the best DS game out there) or get another well loved franchise deeply imbedded in the console. A TES game on it could do the trick too.
