Couldn't say it better myself but still is fun if you have a good selection of games for it but from the game trailers I saw for the wii didn't look promising except for silent hill:shattered memories and dead space extraction but i'm guessing they won't live up to there predcesor :(
Personally I prefer ps3 :)

Good for Party Games. Wouldn't sit down for a session like PS3 or PC

Graphics aren't brilliant. While that's not the main part of a game, most games on it suck anyhow

i tihnk the wii is only good when you're unbelieveably sauced, like, i mean like, six kinds of wednesday drunk. i had one, and my favourite game was game party, cause it has darts, is that something we want to see from a console, now i can play darts without leaving home, the wii is crap. period. other developers feel the need to release sequals, at continuum, but nintendo takes it even farther, ill admit defeat that is has some good games, some as the operative word, but nintendo feels justified that it can release how many mario games for one console? the wii was a fun test, but now no one cares, i hope nintendo is reading all these comments and keeping thme in mind cause the wii wont work twice...

I read an article once that called it "The World's Most Expensive Board Game." That's pretty smart, because it costs $250, and people are just playing it at parties.

I think it's as much of a novelty as Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Something to do with your friends when you're bored at a party.

There was a really big buzz on the platform itself but absolutely no games have made a scratch on the charts and overall.
Really? Because in 2008, of the top 10 best-selling video games, the top 5 consisted entirely of Wii games.

The Nintendo Wii is a groundbreaking games console that has widened the market to encapsulate an entirely new class of consumer, one who can only "game" on a casual basis, also known as the casual gamer. As a result, more people are involved in the gaming scene than ever before. Even my mother is getting into Wii Fit!

I haven't played it in over 7 months. Going to Gamestop to sell it.

By the way, anyone know how much can I get for a Wii and Twilight princess?

I like my Wii very much. I play it every day or two, and I get a thorough amount of joy from the experience. I am avidly looking forward to Wii Sports Resort, because of the Wii Motion Plus. I know that I can just pick up one of the three titles out now that use it, but... c'mon.

Anything that makes you flail around like an idiot, has comparatively awful graphics, and has a pretty awful game library based on stupid gimmicks must be avoided AT ALL COSTS!!!

I was talking about my crappy country, I have no idea what the Wii has done in the UK or the US and A.

Great for when I have friends over... not so much when I don't have anyone over. But I guess that's what my PC is for anyway so the Wii serves its purpose.

I consider the money I spent on what few Wii games I own a good investment. Smash Bros & Umbrella Chronicles especially since those make fantastic party games, always fun to play when you've got a friend over.

I wouldn't buy one. I hate the Wii Motion Controller gimmick, it's like they use it in every single game. I admit that the store is good if you want to play the old games. I'd rather buy the old console and the game for it though.

You know we really don't need one of these threads every other day.

But considering you don't have a high post count, I guess I shouldn't complain.

well. yeah online with SSBB does get pretty laggy which makes it boring fast. motion controls. not that great for most but it still works just perfect for me. the wii has some pretty cool games out there.

one of them I think I wanna play is no more hero's. anyone mind telling me if its bad or not?
Stylish action game, riddled with insanity, boss fights are varied but the fighting in-between can be repetitive, if you can handle that, you will probably like it.

P.S. I love my Wii, and still actively buy games for it.
well. it looked like one of those games where all you need to do to win is just flip your wrist around a few times and blam. you killed your first boss.
still I dunno. I'm one of those people who like swinging a friggen sword at someone trew the wiimote
The sword swings aren't mapped through the Wii-Remote, it's on the A button, heavy attacks that can trigger the wrestling moves are on the B button (which can be quite difficult to do if you don't see them coming) and motions are mapped to special attacks, it actually works very well. And the bosses themselves can be quite difficult actually, I've died quite a few times on quite a few of them.
