If you've spent any time at all on the internet, specifically in the forums of any reasonably popular website, you probably know at least one of the "rules of the internet". Perhaps you know rule 41- that whatever it is, it needs moar desu. (No exceptions.) Perhaps you know rule 63- that for every male character, there is an equal and opposite female character. And I know you know rule 34.
But all communities need structure. And what with us being on the crest of a shiny new digital future, I reckon it's time we knocked up a complete set for rules for future users of teh intarwabs to live by.
So tell me:
You have absolute control. What would you make rule No. 1 of the internet?
Would you follow Google's credos, and "[not] be evil?" Would you have us strictly follow the rules laid down by /b/? Would you simply demand that wifin', in all it's forms, be banned from the club? Post your replies below.
