I die inside every time I hear a little kid asking dumb questions on "his" mic when I play Team Fortress 2. I just completely die inside.

It all depends on

1) is he calm? he can live...
2) can he play? he can live...
3) is he on my team? he can live...(if you answered no to any of these, boot, mute, whatever you can do, depending on the game. I do sometimes get kids to leave games like halo 3 and left 4 dead by telling them that they need to be 18 to play, and I will report them if they don't leave...but, what can I say? their voices infuriate us all.

I think of Hobbs, even if they might not act like him or anything.

So long as they aren't trash-talking (or, well, we all do, so just not excessively) I don't care. They can't help what their voice is, and I can't criticize them for playing, say, CoD, because I was playing Goldeneye at that age.

It mostly depends on their attitude, if it's poor I REFUSE to suffer their voices AND bad attitude.

Sometimes hard to tell just how old someone is even though they sound freakin' childlike, so yeah it really does come down to behavior. Can be very annoying, other times no problem.

I just asked because today I was playing and some kid kept asking how to get the scout weapons over, and over, and over constantly.

How to stop your ears from bleeding in TF 2:

Y button --> Check score
A button --> Gamercard
Scroll Down --> Mute

Ahhhhhhhh...

The first thing that comes to my mind when a kid gets on the mic is "Wow, he has no idea what he's doing. He better not ask me how to play..." They always do. And then I remember that children have a 110% chance of saying "Oh my gosh!!!!" at least once during a gaming session.

I blame the parents. Please, adhere to the ESRB's age ratings (at least until they're old enough to know that the rating difference between T and M is null to any real gamers)

Then I mute them.

I just played Resident Evil 5... oh my god they never shut up

I think one of the funniest things to hear on Live are two little kids swearing CONSTANTLY. Well, it's funny for a minute or two, before I begin to yell and tell them to shut up. Then I play loud, scary music.
