I visited New York City for the first last week-end. I played "Vigil" from the Mass Effect soundtrack as I entered Manhattan. It was glorious.

I saw the Stonewall Inn; that was interesting. All in all, I was impressed at how unglamorous it all was (in a good way, that is).

Oh ok. Anywho... I go to New York once every few years. Its kinda like Chicago. Big city, good food, nice people, crime, rude people, traffic up the wahzoo, subway, and hobos.

And you don't? I hear New York and I think of the city itself, sprawling off into the distance. What, am I supposed to think of food, or a certain building when I hear the name of a city, but not of the city? I hear Tokyo, I think of a panorama of Tokyo, same for London, same for Moscow etc etc.
