What do you think will be on Yahtzee's Top 5/Bottom 5 this year?

Personally, I feel that five of these will be on his Top 5:

Batman: Arkham City
Driver San Fransisco
inFAMOUS 2
Bastion
Resistance 3 is a maybe, I mean he did like it, but he said it copied heavily from Half Life 2.

As for the bad eggs of 2011, I can name a few on his plate (note, I'm basing these on Yahtzee's opinion, don't go hating on me if a game you like gets on here):

Mindjack ("is fucking fucking fucking fucking bad bad bad bad don't don't don't don't play it.")
Call of Juarez: The Cartel ("There is no middle finger big enough.")
Duke Nukem Forever (Actually this could be his #1 Bottom game, mainly for the mass disappointment it caused)
Hunted: The Demon's Forge ("a shit game for twats")
Kirby's Epic Yarn (not a game for his mutual child)
Dead Island ("can go spoon a fucking lave[?]")

You forgot to add in Saint's Row The 3rd. I have a feeling he will enjoy the random destruction you can cause in it. Then again, I am basing this off how he liked the last one. I might have to agree with you on all the others though.

I won't pretend to know what will be at the top of that list, but I know know ONE constant for the bottom:
Mindjack, by far, should be at the bottom of every list.
It's so rare that you see a game with high production values that completely FAILS in every way.

So seldom can I think of a waste of such good ideas (Geist did it first, I know) as Mindjack.

Mindjack isn't just bad, it's astonishingly bad.

Hunted: The demon's forge (Shit game for twats, basically)
Brink (Bad copy of TF2)
Pokemon: White (Is a game for Mad people)
Dead Space 2 (Completly failed as a Survival-Horror)

Really? I'm not defending it, but I don't think he said Pokemon White was as bad as MindJack. I might have to re-watch that episode, but he didn't proclaim it as a bad game, I don't think.

Definitely gonna have Portal 2, Driver, and Arkham City in the top 5, and Mindjack, Duke Nukem, and Hunted in his bottom 5. The others I have no idea.

Agreed - not only did Mindjack have the "fucking fucking ... bad bad bad" bit, but also the "It's rare to find a game so blisteringly appalling in it's every slightest aspect".

I also don't think Dead Space 2 will make the bottom 5 list - it had some not-shit features.

I'd say we're going to have to wait - considering there's Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Saint's Third, and probably a few others that have skipped my mind. I think we've got a good idea as to what bucket each will get thrown into, but we'll see.

All I can say is that if DNF, Hunted and Mindjack don't end up in the bottom 5 I'd be quite surprised.

Yeah, I know we should wait, I just like to muse on the future, is all.

From what I've heard, BF3 got mixed opinions, Sonic Generations (which none of us have mentioned) is getting great reviews, and Uncharted 3 seems good. Not sure about Yahtzee's opinion, but I feel like most of the Shooter Season 2011 shooters have so far gotten beat down by him. (With the exception of Resistance 3 and maybe Hard Reset, might have to watch that one again)

And seeing as Yahtzee's not a big fan of samey-brown realistic shooters, he probably won't have a lot of good things to say about Battlefield 3 or Modern Warfare 3, and Gears 3 got quite a beating too.

I'm not really that much looking forward to any of the future releases, I can't play Arkham City or any other PS3 games because my PS3's not working right, and I don't have a 360. All I want out of the games that are out now or coming soon are Kirby's Return to Dreamland (It's like a reboot of 64, which was great), DBZ: Ultimate Tenkaichi (Creating my own Saiyan will be fun), and Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. (Can't wait to use Rocket Raccoon and Dr. Strange!)
