Occasionally for holding the bottom of cups or glasses so I dont accidentally drop them if I'm holding them abscent mindedly.

When I rest my head on my left arm, I tend to stick the tip of my pinky in my mouth. Weird quirk/habit.

I'm quite surprised I'm the first one to say: move my mouse. Of course I use the whole hand, but without the pinky, I wouldn't have quite as much stability. But then that goes for a lot of gripping activities, so never mind. Other than that, probably only touch typing as well.

Whenever I drink anything, I stick my pinky finger out. It looks sophisticated that way.

Oddly enough, the only thing I ever use mine for is to help me grip things. I have my thumb around one way, and my pinkie going the other. I'm actually dependent on my index finger for almost everything, I use that for everything (such as typing, for example - I find it quicker and easier to be an 'index typer' rather than use all my fingers...).

So yeah, almost absolutely nothing, I guess...

At first it seems redundant but seem to use it as my primary tapping 'A' on the keyboard button and of course the vital tea cup stabilizer. (Yes. I'm British)

Well, you answered that question for me, on both counts!

Although I'm not British, I always stick it out there as if it's entirely crucial. Otherwise, I find it rather annoying because I always catch it on something. >.<
