I would like to see Zombies in a science fiction setting, why do all zombie films/games have to take place today?!?!
Stubbs the zombie is a 3rd person 'shooter' I know i have it. An it is a good game. But what im talking about is like age of empires except you controll zombies and you eradicate humanity.TsunamiWombat said:Stubbs the Zombie: Rebel without a Pulse. It's on XBLA I believe. Was an original Xbox game. Got good reviews.Kimberland said:An RTS style game where you control a Zombie hord and have to take down humanity
yeah you have a point, but the old zombies had a more classic feel to them rather than the plagas which felt only like simply psycho villagersnot a zaar said:There's really no difference between plagas and zombies. In fact, the plagas victims are zombies if you go by the traditional definition.MacDonaldFin said:I want them back in the Resi series, but seeing how the storyline for the plagas is going, i assume they've taken over the zombies' place on Resi, so yeah maybe once or twice I'd like to see a zombie in the next mainstream Resi game
traditional zombies, by definition, are being controlled at all timessquid5580 said:Plagas victims can use weapons with accuracy. Since when can a traditional zombie light a stick of dynamite and lob it at a survivor? Sure in Land of the Dead they did eventually figure out how to shoot but they weren't very efficient. There is no way they could throw an axe from 100 feet with pinpoint accuracy.not a zaar said:There's really no difference between plagas and zombies. Also the plagas were controlled. Traditional zombies cannot be controlled.
that sounds...like the best game ever made O.Osomedude98 said:This is an idea for a game me and some friends came up with one day, we agreed it would be the perfect survival horror.
I would like a comeplete free sandbox game. Its gonna be like I am legend. There are NO safe places. There are NO others. Its you trying to get from point A to point B surviving on your starting pistol, rope and a lighter plus your ability to find stuff thats gonna make you live. Time passes the same everyday. The horde comes at night weather you are ready or not. Every house can be fortified but some are far supior to others and have built in objects to use as cades. You survive the horde and you live to see dawn. When you are injured you drip blood leaving a scent for zombies to follow which is why bandages are important. If you are lucky the night will be silent and there will be no horde. Taking potshots out a skyscraper is an option but once there your trapped. Police stations and abandoned army turkcs will provide weapons and ammo. Like a horde attack in L4D, in the day when you only find 1 or 2 zombies you will encounter a nest, where zombies sleep due to their poor day time vision. At this point they will converge on you as a mass mob. Cars and shiz in this game will work but fuel is tight and roads are blocked byc ars and wreckage from the army fight.
Spose i should explain items in this game. The rope helps with cades as it provides more structure (other items will help like this, nails ect. Lighter can ignite molotovs and cades making zombies who climb over them die while damaging the cade. ALL items are usefull if you can think of a way to combine them with other items. Food is important too but not to an extreme degree.
Sorry its a bit long bit i think this would be a perfect zombie game.
By "traditional zombie" I mean the OOOOOLLLLD zombies, way before the undead. Originally a zombie was a slave under the control of a magician or shaman. In that regard the plagas victims are more zombie than the shuffling undead.squid5580 said:Plagas victims can use weapons with accuracy. To me a traditional zombie is a George Romero type not a Haitian Voodoo type especially since the Voodoo types weren't technically dead in the first place but just appeared to be dead. Although there is the ole necromancy which I didn't consider when I made the post so I do concede defeat.tyzzni said:traditional zombies, by definition, are being controlled at all timessquid5580 said:Plagas victims can use weapons with accuracy.
