As far as non-game things go, I'd like an Epiphone EB-3 bass.

If you like it go for it! BUT Epiphone's don't sound great live so if you are planning on playing gigs with it I would not recommend it, I would recommend going for the Fender Mexican Standard Jazz Bass (£500) which is more expensive but is the best bass on the market in my opinion for the cost, it would take you longer to save up for it of course but it is totally worth it.

I was originally planning on saving up for a Rickenbacker 4003 (FLCL and Geddy Lee make it look so cool!), but I'm trying not to spend too much on basses if I don't know if I'm serious. The EB-3 is cost-effective, looks cool, and has a very different sound from my Hofner, so it seems like a good buy at this point, being $300 USD.

If you happen to be looking for a new bass that's not too pricy but is really sweet, I do recommend the Hofner Galaxie. I got mine for $450 USD with a hard leather case, and I love it. I think it only comes in shortscale, but the size hasn't been an issue for me. And it's gorgeous.

Funnily enough actually I am saving up for a Rickenbacker 4003 (in FLCL Midnight Blue nonetheless) at the moment, that Hofner you posted does look pretty cool actually, I might just get one due to it being shortscale and put piccolo strings on it, piccolo basses sound really cool...

I put down a half-dozen games on my X-Mas list and a bunch of other random games spanning over a half-dozen consoles on other lists. The funny thing being (as I'm sure you can guess) a majority of the games I want on the U have been released previously on other consoles (Darksiders II, Ninja Gaiden 3, Sega All-Stars Racing, etc). Also Ben and Jerry's Volun-Tiramisu ice cream. It's exclusive to Target and is Tiramisu flavored ice cream. IT. IS. AWESOME!!

What I really, REALLY need though is either money for my car repairs or, just a new car. I really wish I had more money...

Go for it. Very punchy sound, and a great feel overall. I've gotten a lot of comments on the color, too. Many people who've seen it really like it.

There's actually not much on the list this year. I want a specific budget smart phone (the Kyocera Rise) the third and fourth seasons of Stargate: SG-1, a copy of Zone of the Enders: the Second Runner and really, that's it. Thanks to the ridiculous sale on the phone on amazon right now, and the low used prices of the other items, literally all I want for Christmas can be had for about $75. I can't for the life of me remember a year when I've had a list this short (or at least filled with items this small), but I guess that's one of the fringe benefits of not having a lot of free time: your entertainment products (movies, books, games, etc.) pile up in a huge backlog, so you don't really /need/ to be constantly buying more.

I hesitantly agreed to a Christmas dinner with my siblings early in the month, and the day is rapidly approaching. For some reason I agreed to make a strawberry and apple pie for the evening. Luckily that's something I can do easily, I just don't want to.

My brother didn't ask for anything and I can't really make him anything that he would enjoy, so I only made presents for my sisters. I crocheted them both table/chair/couch throws of their favorite colours, and I painted something Felix the cat inspired for my sister-in-law (her favorite character) on a small canvas. Those are their presents, whether they will genuinely like them or not is their problem.

I don't expect to receive much, if anything, and that's alright. I don't really need anything. I'm waiting for the Steam sale to kick in, so I can just treat myself.
