What do you want for Christmas?

Fairly self-explanatory - what would you like to find under the tree this year?

I usually struggle populating my Christmas list and this year is no exception. So far I have come up with:

A small mp3 player of some kind to use while running. An iPod shuffle / smart watch type thing.

Tablet of some kind. Probably an iPad or nexus 7. This is quite a big gift so would take the place of multiple smaller ones.

Blu-Rays of films I like / a mass of super cheap dvds from amazon.


To be honest I was hoping the thread could provide some inspiration.

I'm mostly just getting money I can put towards a car when I finally nail a job, also Bioshock Infinite which I didn't pick up when it first came out because I was busy with coursework and upcoming exams at the time and never got around to buying it.

Assuming you're into gaming OP, how about seeing if there's any games you didn't get this year but might be interested in? If you're lucky, they'll be cheaper now too.

Seriously, though, I've been an XBox 360 guy for ages, and now that the PS4 is out, the PS3 prices should start dropping to a point where I can justify picking one up to play all the stuff I missed out on (like The Last of Us).

What do I want? Well, I'd love to have a start on my new gaming/dev tower, but knowing everything in my life, I'll probably get a Christmas Brick at most. The whole family is toeing the poverty line.

I've been wanting this very nice hammock tent setup for months now, but it's not gonna happen.

A tablet would also be quite nice, but again not gonna happen.

Hell at this point some new shoes would be nice, tired of walking around in these blown out shoes.

I'll probably end up getting tools or something like that...

Steering wheel cover, new cutlery, and more vacation time so I can go see my parents, as I don't get to see them this year for Christmas. Mostly I just want to see them, but the other two I kind of need. Won't get to see my parents until February.

I can't honestly think of anything I need, or even want that isn't a stupid luxury item that just upgrades what I already have that's perfectly functional.

Maybe a maid service to come in and clean for me, as I'm lazy about that. That's about all I can think of.

A lot of you folks get a metric shit-ton for Christmas. Mine seem most humble in comparison. I don't know what to ask for, besides a few things on my Amazon wishlist - mostly comprising DVDs I've not gotten round to buying yet. And a new stick blender as a flat present, as ours died the other night. Other than that I'm after a new monitor but wouldn't dream of asking for it as a present as it's so expensive..

There's nothing I really want this year. What I did ask for (a normal DS) my boyfriend has got me, so I'm happy with that.
a 3DS might have been nice too but I can buy my own in the future.
I suppose a few DS games to play? (I know you'll be reading this, John. Don't even think about buying me any! You've bought me enough...!)
A bag of skittles as big as me would be nice too!~

That's about it, I'll appreciate anything I get but this is one year I can't think of a thing I want.

I want a key to the coffin workshop at my work. For some reason, when they gave me keys to everywhere else, they didn't give me one for that. I have asked for one several times, but its never happened. I'll have to ask again before Christmas

Other than that, I asked my brother for The Cornetto Trilogy boxset but other than that I'm not that fussed. I'm kinda hard to buy for because I buy myself pretty much what I want. I suppose if someone got me a new MP3 player I wouldn't be unhappy.

Also if someone wants to buy me a Fiat 500 and if Hayden Panettiere or Kaley Cuoco want to turn up at my door wearing nothing but a ribbon and a smile then I wouldn't complain either.

I pretty much get cash for Christmas which I will spend it on a Nintendo eshop card (I am intriged by the 4 Mii streetpass games) and I know I'm getting Borderland 2 from my bro.

Other than that the following are optional (if I get alot of cash for christmas)

A new Ipod nano (my current one seen to be short of battery life but I'm certain I can still prolong it usage).

An 1TB portable harddrive (thanks to my pc hiccup last week, I have been thinking about backing up my data but my ccurent 500gb portable harddrive can't be used unless I make some spaces in it).

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and with 3DS XL circle pad pro to go with it (that going to cost me around £50 since that game price hasn't decrease at all...)

The two Professor Layton games on the 3DS (I loved that franchise).

I think there's a serious lack of Discworld books in your list. Needs moar of them!

And I think I settle for a Pokemon X, I bought a 3ds but I don't actually have a 3ds game on it(I borrowed New Super Mario Bros and Pokemon Soul Silver from a friend)

I always have trouble coming up with things I want. I have very low goals and lead kinda a Spartan lifestyle (and by that I mean "often not capitalized : marked by simplicity, frugality, or avoidance of luxury and comfort).

Honestly, im just looking forward to spending time with my family and a nice meal.
