This. I felt stupid when I jumped like that soldier disguised with a squad around and get away with it. NO!!! That's not natural! Shoot me damn it!! Raise the alarm!

And the way Alex consumes people with style depending on the weapon active... so AWESOME. Don't want to see that changed in Prototype 2. Maybe just more variety on side quests.

Also, more devasters. I loved using those.

And, i also forgot to mention, better side quests. Make them like Infamous.

Remove the monsters that knock you down. Nothing is more irritating than stun, get up, move 5 steps, stun, repeat. Also, I wouldn't mind the ability to tone the gore down a little. I felt a little ill after playing for a while.

A stealth element of sorts by adding the option to become a "Puddle" (more or less cover underground) and then ambush someone, better graphics of course, a bit less cluster fuck, mix and match abilities would be fantastic like a previous poster mentioned.

more ways to slice n dice enemies (like a left4dead2 way damage system or something)
and more enemies, and USEFUL ways to deal with them.

*looks at 5 second trailer* O_O

Me wants more!!!!! So much torture. Give away the real trailer already!

OT: Better graphics are obvious.

Better story would be nice.

Better... AI would be nicer.

more variety in enemies, for one. it seemed like, besides the few bosses in the game, there were the freaks, the military and their tanks and helicopters, and those big pink monster dudes.

more powers, obviously

and a coop mode :D

better graphics would also be nice, but thats not anywhere near being most important

Lots and lots of gore.... and a bigger axe arm. Maybe some more destructible environment.

I'd like to see it as more of a stealth based game than an all-out action-packed beat-em-up. The stealth sections were okay, but the idea has so much potential.

Also, more character models; I get bored of seeing the same person seven times as I walk down the road.

More varied use of the powers.

That puddle idea is brilliant, I'd love to be able to do that.

Well, I'd actually say I'd like them to pay more attention to the writing. The developers seemed undecided as to whether Alex was supposed to be a sympathetic anti-hero (which I'd prefer) or a totally sociopathic killing machine. As soon as he seems to settle into one mould something happens that just makes you go "WTF". Yahtzee's bit about him running people over callously with a tank while musing "Gee, I hope I'm doing the right thing" was more or less right on the money with the writing in this game.

I thought the graphics were fine personally, people seem to not "get" that graphics have to be rendered in real time, and it's a batter of balancing graphics quality to the amount of things happening. "Prototype" is a very busy game, sort of like how "Saint's Row 2" is a much busier game than the graphically superior "Grand Theft Auto IV". The game has to track all those enemies, civilians, and heavily animated powers and be ready to draw them instantly if they come into sight. It's sort of like how in "Saint's Row 2"
, a typical moment could have you dealing with responses from a criminal gang, the police, and your own gang if you lead them into your territory. Substantially more going on, which means the graphics had to be lessened to allow for all of that. Hardware can only do so much. I would not want to see the graphics improved at the expense of reducing the amount of things that are going on, which is ultimatly what is liable to happen. Rather I'd like to see them spend the time tightening up the systems in place.

Also to be honest it would be nice if they stopped using the term "Parkour" because they thought it was cool. Every time I see him wallrunning and the game is referring to it as "super parkour" I want to yak.

More varied side quests would be good, and I also think they need to tweak the difficulty a bit. The game seemed to fluctuate heavily from too easy, to too hard. It did have a nice middle ground at times, but I felt that the situations where it seemed nicely balanced were outweight by times when it was weighted too far in one direction or another.

Bosses that are bosses and STAY bosses and are not recycled as common enemies later in the game.
Who's with me?

I want the game to have more personality, it just seemed all too...drab. Alex is just sort of dead inside and the city was dull and repetitive.

Less laziness.
Seriously. Most of Prototype's flaws are due to general laziness and lack of creativity. Don't just use templates, for fuck's sake, think of something new.

Driveable cars would be nice...
You run at a 100 mph (UP the side of a building), can fly, steal tanks and choppers and you want....to drive a car?

the things that explode and flip over when you bump into them?
Exactly! Call me lazy but I really missed driving ordinary cars somehow. Or a bike, for those moments when you want to make some stunts.
Sure, they could spice things up by letting Alex merge with the vehicles to give them special powers (like driving up buildings) but I didn't want to sound too greedy.

Well if it was for wii and had proper controls I'd consider renting it. If the story was good enough. Other than that, there's really no way I'd play it ;)

More enemies/people on screen, enemies that are a little tougher, destructible environments, new abilities...
